What a great way to spend my birthday! Our tour of the canyon was perfectly executed because we were fortunate enough to find the Namancambre Tour office shortly after arriving into town from Matagalpa. I was a bit apprehensive about the length and strenuousness of the tour. I expressed my concerns and it was obvious they listened. If you want a worry free day swimming and hiking the canyon, these are the folks to link up with.....they organized everything so that we could have fun yet relaxing adventure!

Amazing trip, amazing place. Yannick our guide was wonderful really encouraging as we had some none swimmers in the group.We didnt know what to expect and did the medium route, great views whilst walking and fun swimming in the tubes, wonderful absolutely loved it!!

What an amazing experience! We had a group of 14 and planned this excursion 6 months in advance. Gonzalo took care of us like we were family every step of the way! We arrived the night before and stayed at the hotel and had breakfast and got the royal treatment! The canyon tour was incredible! 5 hrs of amazingness! A must do! No question! Thank you so so much! 5 stars hands down!

I really loved this trip. We arrived Somoto at night and walked an hour before camping at the top of a hill, the trip was exciting and nice in the dark, one could hear the river and watch the stars. The evening was cozy, Gonzalo and the local guides lit a fire and helped us and set up tents, all in all a perfect night. The next morning we were served delicious breakfast with a local family before rappeling down a 40 meter high rock followed by a wonderful walk / swim in the canyon. The scenery is amazing, you can not miss Canyon of Somoto if you are in Nicaragua. Namacambre tours are a very professional tour operator and offers many different activities in and around the canyon. The guides are exceptional, full of information, pranks and laughter. If visiting Canon de Somoto you should choose Namacambre tours!

A group of 17 people decided to go with Namacambre Tours, they took us up to the Canyon for camping, to small farm with lovely people that make the best nicaraguan cheese! After the camp we went rappelling. If we had gone by ourselves, we would have not gotten such a great experience. Gonzalo and the local guides are excellent, they have a lot of experience leading adventurous trails. Indeed El Cañon de Somoto is the perfect destination for Adrenaline lovers and Namacanbre Tours the best ones to lead your way!

We spent the day climbing over rocks and swimming through the canyon on the 'medium' route with our guide Wilson and had a great day out! Make sure you bring dry clothes for afterwards as you'll really feel the cold when you get out of the water. Gonzalo's agency and friendly staff offer a wide variety of activities from the general canyon tour to rappelling and climbing too, which is hard to find around Central America. Don't miss the Cañon de Somoto!

Es importante dejar opiniones para prevenir de sitios pocos recomendables, pero más importante aún dejar bien claro cuando alguien DESTACA por lo bueno. Nosotros fuimos un grupo grande que hicimos descenso por el cañón de somoto ( jaja eso sí,para cuando el video? Xd) . 3 de nosotras nos quedamos una noche más e hicimos escalada. Es una pasada el paisaje y las vías son sencillas. Os animo a probar!! El dueño es un ENCANTO. Le gusta lo que hace y transmite confianza. Fíjaos unPequeño detalle. Me picó una abeja en el cañón ( nunca me había picado una) y estuvo pendiente los primeros minutos de cualquier reacción que pudiera tener. Tiene formación en primeros auxilios y es muy prudente. Te da conversación y está muy animado. El chico de la escalada también es muy majete! En el hostal estuvimos muy muy cómodas y tiene un punto a favor que encontrareis en pocos lugares : COCINA. Hicimos una cena comunitaria y tortilla española! Siempre estaba pendiente de que estuvieramos agusto pero sin agobiarte, sientes que piedes descansar. Además , nos llevó a conocer un rodeo ....toda una experiencia! De verdad, de los mejores sitios a los que hemos ido en muestro viaje de tres meses por nicaragua!!! un abrazo grande al dueño!!

Im Hostal fühlt man sich direkt wohl, Gonzalo ist stets bemüht und hilft einem wo er kann. Es gibt eine sehr gut eingerichtete Küche und Schlafmöglichkeiten für 12 Personen. Es fühlt sich alles sehr faniliär an. Die große 6 Stunden Tour durch den Cañon war grandios - schimmen, klettern, vom wasserfall springen und eine Fahrt mit dem Ruderboot. Wir waren mit Janick dem Guide zu 4. und sind in den 6 Stunden nur einer einzigen Person begegnet.

Contratamos a Namancambre Tours para visitar el cañon de Somoto hace unas semanas, elegimos el tour largo que tuvo una duración aproximada de 5-6 horas. Realmente pensamos que esta agencia tiene un servicio excelente, desde el transporte que nos brindaron desde Granada hasta el guía asignado. Fueron puntuales y sumamente profesionales, además de explicar detalladamente cada pregunta que hiciéramos sobre el cañón. El tour es excelente y tuvimos la oportunidad de caminar, nadar por el cañón y realizar saltos de hasta 5 metros de altura.

Parece que es la agencia más estructurada y cuenta con buenos equipos como salvavidas y mochilas impermeables. La experiencia en sí era muy buena, era refrescante nadar en las pozas. El guía nos explicaba muchas cosas en el camino.Sin embargo, los detalles del pago no estaban bien claros. Supuestamente estaba incluido todo, pero tuvimos que pagar la diferencia de tarifa de taxi porque querían subir 9 personas en un taxi y no queríamos ir así, también, nos querían que los niños compartieran el mismo neumático de sus madres pero es muy incómodo, al final usamos un neumático cada uno y nos querían cobrar para niños. El transporte de regreso era en bus público. No sabemos si es el guía que trataba de ahorrar los gastos y meter al bolsillo la diferencia, o es la orientación de la agencia para cobrar más y brindar menos. Como no nos dieron recibo, no nos quedó claro al final si el precio que nos cobraron era para nacionales o extranjeros. Es recomendable usar el servicio de esta agencia, pero tengan cuidado, sobre todo si van con niños.

Agencia radicada en la misma localidad de Somoto. Ofrecen diversas alternativas para visitar el cañón a precios competitivos. Nosotros elegimos la de media distancia, muy completa e intensa, que incluye caminar, saltar y bañarse en el cañón. También ofrecen la posibilidad de hacer rappel. Su atención por correo electrónico fue rápida y fueron flexibles para adaptarse a los cambios que les solicitamos. El guía local que nos acompañó fue amable e informativo.
