We walked around here and loved it. When you see locals they might look a little bit hard looking but the moment you smile at them and say Hola they will grin back at you and start talking to you about their hopes and dreams and where they want to travel.The park is immaculate and deserves special mention. Also you can play basketball with the locals. Its a great place for breakfast or lunch or just to hang and watch the pace of life drift by.

Aunque mucho menos famoso que los parques centrales de León y Granada, el Parque Central de Ocotal puede competir con ellos por su belleza. De calles adoquinadas, alberga la colorida y pequeña Alcaldía, el elegante edificio de la Casa de Cultura y la blanca e impoluta iglesia, iluminada por la noche. El centro del parque está repleto de vegetación y ofrece un ambiente acogedor y agradable. El parque es tranquilo y seguro, con poco tráfico rodado.
