This is a beautiful place. beautiful beach, some really good places to eat but do not go during Carnival.

We spent 2 nights there, doing a trip to Coiba. Definitely a great destination for a get-away. We will go back even though we are not surfers.

We took a day trip to the beach and found it really nice. Quiet also with nice views to Coiba Island. We will be ging back for a few days when we can. About 2 hours drive from Santiago de Veraguas

We decided to try this beach out while first visiting Panama. It's a small almost hidden beach but has surfing and cabanas. We parked ourselves on lounge chairs under the shade of some palm trees with our beer and snacks. We discovered that the black sand can be SCORCHING hot. So while trying to walk out to the water it was a lot of "ooh...ouch...ow...wow!" So a bit of advice...bring water shoes/flip flops and just leave them at the edge of the water. They offer surf lessons and surfboard rental. The surf instructor said that he would not be available until late that afternoon and being the stubborn male gringos that we are...the three of us decided to rent the surfboards but and teach ourselves. Too bad we didn't film it for America's Funniest Home Videos. Nonetheless, the water was beautiful and the afternoon was relaxing (except for the constant falling off the surfboard.)

Adorei conhecer esse lugar, mesmo sabendo que no Panamá há praias muito melhores, mas, é importantíssimo conhecer este lugar muito badalado por surfistas, além de suas ilhas a volta.

Playa bastante grande, hermosa y para la cantidad de turistas que llegan allí a visitarla debería ser más limpia. Consejo, ir un poco lejos del río; es más tranquilo y Bonito.

El pueblo está muy limpio. No se ve basura. La atención buena. Lo único, es que la mayoría de los restaurantes sirven solo huevo para el desayuno (omelette, revuelto, frito). Como que buscan lo más rápido.

Exelente punto de actividades acuaticas....paraiso natural protegido, exelente eleccion para surfers de experiencia y lo mejor es que hay diferentes opciones de alojamiento segun necesidades, Isla Coiba en el oceano pacifico, parque nacional, referente historico por la vieja carcel hoy convertida en museo. Playa estero tambien nos espera con hermosas vistas y el rio que llega al mar.

Excelente playa de veraguas, un poco lejos pero vale la pena pasarse un par de dias, los hoteles y alojamientos ahora se estan mejorando y hay disponibles buenos sitios, me he quedado varias veces en el hotel sol y mar, me parece bueno.

Tremendo lugar, las autoridades deben poner más orden y limpieza en un área tan bonita, había bastante desaseo en las calles y en la misma playa mucha basura, además incentiven a los restaurantitos que están por ahí a que mejoren su imagen.
