valugan beach

Seeing all those boulders spread out along the length of the shore is an awesome sight to behold. Valugan Beach is a great place to sit and watch the crashing waves not so far away.

The beach is very good for photo-op as there are a lot of boulders. It is a good stop over from biking around Marlboro hills.

The boulders were literally spewed by a volcano in the 14th century! It's not for swimming but I loved the vibe, the scenic views, a place where you could sit for hours just meditating and taking in the beauty of the world!

You can take a tricycle ride from town. Great place for photos. You can't swim because it's a shoreline of boulders. Strong waves so I don't think it's safe to swim here.http://www.ann-d-explorer.com/2014/05/valugan-boulder-beach-batanes.html

This beach is just a short tricycle ride from Basco proper. It's hard to take a bad photograph here - great photo opportunities from every angle! A great place to just sit and reflect for a moment while enjoying nature. We don't hear too many people mention swimming here, it generally doesn't seem to be the place for that.

Smooth boulders line the beach that stretches for miles (looks like it) with big waves crashing on it. Then, there's this huge mountain covered with foliage near the beach. The clouds always cover the top of it. (Accrdg to our guide). It made me fell so small. Like I am in the land of the giants, or king Kong would emerge from tge mountain. weird.

the view is quite stunning. and nothing obscures the view from you. it's a fairly isolated site, so you can collect your thoughts and just sit there and absorb the surrounding beauty. i highly recommend it.

When in Batanes, you must go to this beach. The Pebbles are not pebbles but smooth boulders and standing on them , which the surge of waves coming in will make you feel small but part of the universe
