完全跨越语言的精彩表演!舞者们除了打击表演精彩,演技也一流,和观众的互动让全场笑声连连,非常值得安排两个小时观赏,绝对不会失望!
Brilliant! Although I have watched the show when they came to Malaysia, it still get me to have a fun time. we went there 30 of us till the end of our trip we still hung up on the catch phrase."Pannnn!!!!" -- watch to understand. LOL
The theatre was good. The show was amazing There was some fun things to do while waiting, food and the seats were great to see the show
Our daughter bought tickets for the whole family to watch this show and at first, we were all skeptical about seeing a Korean "show" but it turned out to be a real treat and what a superb cast we had on our evening of the show (Green Cast). Lots of laughter with great audience participation. Highly recommended for everyone.
It's not a cheap night out (about AUD 70 per person) and to be frank, not really Aussie humour. I would think it would rate with "The Wiggles" or Romper Room, I'd call it a bit slapstick. I thought it would be clever cooking, but it wasn't. Some of it reminded me of "canned" American humour, where you hold up the signs for 'laugh', "cheer" etc. Maybe I am being harsh, but I would find it hard to recommend. Perhaps if you go expecting the above, you won't be disappointed!
curious tourists we are that the whole family wanted to watch this show with good ratings...the show was in Korean but surprisingly we loved the show!!! Korean culture from old to modern times was depicted in the show. Overall, this show is a must to see!!!
I had seen the Nanta show on TV in Sweden so I was curios. Not really excited but wanted to see this. This is different and somehow also a piece of Korean culture. It is fun, it brings you laugh and you will for sure enjoy the 1:45 hours the show is going on. The audience will be a part of the show as well and me, I ended up on the stage and married a Korean girl there - funny! So after a lot of laughs and a good time did I leave the theatre with a great feeling. And yes, I would see it again. Travel to the Chungjeongo Nanta Theatre is easy - Just take line 2 to Chungjeongno Subway station, leave at exit number 2 and you are there. The theatre is just beside the subway exit.
Some of my comments contain some spoilers so please read no further if you do not want to know what the show is about. This show is has been running since 1997 and seen in over 150 cities. It's the most popular show along with "Jump". It's entertaining and unique - many stuns and humorous. There a high degree of audience participation and some segments seem impromptu so I suspect how good a show also depends on which cast you end up with. There are about 6 different casts . Be prepared to be sporting if you do attend. No less than 10 audience members end up on stage and a two - one male and one female - also end up as the "star" attraction. Lots of things get thrown into and at the audience as well.
There's a reason why this is such a long running performance and they are able to show it multiple times in multiple theatres every day.The performance was electrifying and yet comical that even kids can have fun. There was also audience involvement. Would like to watch again should another chance arise.
very funny, worth to visit. a lot. i'm not disappointed at all.try to come early, coz you can not enter the show if you come late (it's not movie theater anyway. And, have fun!
I heard so much reviews about this show that I knew I had to go watch it. I stayed at Myeongdong but did not want to book at the theater there as the seating seemed limited if I booked online. Plus it was slightly more expensive there as they did not have a discount which the Chungjeongno one had. We took a subway there and there was a pretty long walk from the Green Line (Euljiro 1-ga) It was worth it really. At first I was worried that my 6 year old would not understand or that my 13 year old would find it boring. No need to worry as the show entertains everyone from 5 to 90 years old! Not much Korean spoken. Mostly action and drama. We literally laughed from the beginning to the end. We took the front row seats on the extreme right and were up close and personal with the action. The storyline is simple and universally understood. Non stop action and the skills of the actors and actress are to be lauded. The drumming and chopping scenes took great skills and the actors did it well. Entertainment value very high. Just as unique is the way they portray the ancient Korean form of drumming using, not the usual drums, but the odds and ends from a kitchen! If you have just one show you want to watch, make this the one. You will not regret.
We stayed within the area and decided to watch the show at this theater. If you are on a budget travel, would suggest to check their website for deals. The price listed was from KRW40k onwards. We managed to get 2 seats for KRW56k, under some promotion on their website. The downside was that the only available seats were on the top floor and we missed out some of the excitement that was happening downstairs. Guests on the stage floor had the fun of being thrown the 'food' cooked and also being called upstage to help out. So take into account the seating! The opening slides were very entertaining too. Make sure to reach there early to go through those slides. Don't miss this show!
Enjoyed this show thoroughly. It's like a Korean Broadway show. I wasn't sure if this would be a good show before I got in there but end up enjoying every moment of it. It's a non verbal comedy show with lots of audience participation. You won't regret going to this show!
Very funny show and it was suitable for kids as well as adults. Actors were very talented, funny and interacting with audience in a fantastic performance.
This theatre is relatively new and spacious. We attended the 5pm show on a weekday & surprisingly the theatre was full. There's booster seats provided for the children and the show kept us fully entertained throughout. Booking online was relatively easy. It is definitely a show not to be missed.
