If I understand correctly, this is in the old library. They really don't have much in the way of a display, but what they have will tell you a lot about the prehistory of St Vincent. A lot of pottery and tools. There were several distinct invasions to St Vincent with very different artifacts. Even after the Africans arrived from a foundering slave ship, the British brought slaves to work their plantations.I was quite interested in a map on the wall done by the British in the 1700s. She said they would make a copy of the map for me, but when I came back all I got was photos of the map on my camera. They didn't even have a digital copy of the map. In the 1800s the British built a lot of roads including three cross country roads. Their roads tend to be level, following the countors of the map, often along the ridges of elevation. I have followed one beyond the map, watched it switchback up to a ridge, but then lost it in the growth. There are many old roads in St Vincent, but because everything grows so fast you usually need a guide and they can be hard to find.
it was nice to see where the first pirate of the caribbean was filmed props to the government for making it a landmark
