I arranged a ride to negril before arriving to Jamaica. I emailed them an offer and they replied quickly. I stayed at a hotel in MoBay. I wanted a ride for me and 3 friends to negril for the day. I said for 8:30am and the driver (O'neal I think his name is) was there at 8:25. He was very polite and didn't drive like a mad man. I asked his number and told him where I'd be for pick up and that I'd call him. I called around 9pm and he was there in 10 mins. Very impressed and I will definitely use their services again. First time to Jamaica and book with this taxi service. So glad we did, Heather was waiting upon our arrival. She quickly called our driver Latoya who was professional and informative on our drive to Negril. On our way back we have Oneil who was also friendly and informative. Highly recommend Joe Cool and will use them again.

We used Joe's to take us from Montego Bay to Negril and then back to the airport. On the way to Negril, our comfortable van broke down, and they summoned another taxi right away. On the trip back to Montego, Bud, our driver, told us the history of every little town we passed through and showed us local landmarks. I saw a souvenir along the roadside I wanted and he was kind enough to stop and let me get it. We had a little extra time when we arrived in Montego Bay (they are very prompt on pick-up), and it was lunch time, so Bud took us to a jerk restaurant which was excellent. He dropped us off and bid farewell with a warm hug, which was great with us. Thank you, Bud!

4 of us took a private tour with Bud from Joe Cool tours. We started with the Appleton Factory Tour, went to YS Falls, then out to the Pelican Bar for "fresh" fish and Red Stripe! (so fresh we watched them clean our fish). All the attractions were awesome...shout out to Dillon and his zipline partner ...made our day!, thanks also to Gordon our guide and photographer at the Falls!Bud was a great driver, organized all our tours, kept us comfy and fed! and shared so much history of Negril, we enjoyed our day and would totally recommend Bud and Joe Cool as the best way to see the sights! We used Joe Cool's company for transfers between Negril and the MBJ airport, and the service was flawless. On-time; comfortable vans; friendly and professional drivers (a different one each way); a very good price; Red Stripes on ice; separate stops after the airport pick-up for groceries and a jerk-stand lunch; free loaner phone. This is the second time we have used Joe Cool. I will tell you that even when you go to the same place as some of our friends did with another tour, the experience is not the same. Joe knows people. Even though he had a last minute conflict and could not meet us personally, he had another driver pick us up, Michael Johnson, who was excellent as well. We have used Joe Cool Taxi & Tours many times and have always found him to be dependable and very knowledgeable about Jamaica. His vehicles (five of them) are clean and always in good running order. Joe does offer some of the best prices for his transportation and tours. Some of the best things about Joe is his quick communications and outstanding personality. He and his drivers are always on time and generally arrive early for your pick-up. Joe is one of the strong leaders on THE LIST (a drivers list for Jamaica shown as a forum on TA).

For our honeymoon my parents surprised us with a private car from the airport to Sandals Whitehouse!! Joe Cool taxi service was awesome!!!! If you have ever been to SWH you know the 90minute ride over the mountains can be horrible and cause you to get car sick... well, Joe Cool was so awesome I fell asleep in the car! We were also given all kinds of excellent information about the island, housing, animals, food, locations to visit, etc. If you have a early morning pick up, bring your driver a breakfast sandwich from our resort, we brought Joe one and he was surprised... much love!!! Joe is family!!! :) We actually gave this service as a wedding gift to our friends that were going to Jamaica for their honeymoon. They were staying in Montego Bay and the ride was only about 15mins from the airport, but we loved knowing they were being taken care of by family. If you email joe, they reply very quickly!! Used Joe Cool Taxi service for a transfer from Sensatori Hotel in Negril to the Airport at Montego Bay , arrived promptly , car nice and cool thanks to air conditioning and a quick but safe journey to the airport ,mould thoroughly recommend for $60 they were a lot cheaper than the price the taxi service at the hotel could offer.When we return we will definitely use them again for a sightseeing tour as well as a transfer

We used Joe Cool to bring us to our hotel in Negril. Wonderful experience and great pricing. We had 4 in our party and did the private booking. The driver was on time at the airport and had our red stripes ready! Ya mon! We even asked the driver to make a quick stop at the store on the way to Negril and it was no problem mon! We had Joe himself as our driver on the way back to the airport. He arrived early to get us, and was such a pleasant person. He talked about the way of life in Jamaica, his past, and his business. We have used Joe Cools airport transfer service the last three years and absolutely love it. It's far more convenient than the free hotel shuttle and much more enjoyable and relaxing. Latoya takes great care of us every year. No waiting at the airport and always right on time to take us back. If you use them a few times there are even some perks. You'll have to find those on your own. :-)

Thanks to Trip Advisor community we checked out several companies for airport transfers to Riu Ocho Rios. I'm sure they are all great but we were truly pleased with Joe Cool! We had NO idea that customs would be a nearly three hour ordeal, so from the minute we landed I was texting our driver who waited patiently for us to arrive. I thought for sure they would pick up another group, but they whisked us away once we were finally through. I was so exhausted we slept most of the way to Ocho Rios, but on the return trip, Joe arrived 30 minutes early. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and educational chat with him the whole way back - everything from his childhood, the school system, economics - we were all firing questions at him he was so interesting! It was much more than just pointing out areas of interest...we learned much about Jamaica! It made our experience so much richer and deepened our desire to come back. Thanks for taking care of our family :) And he's really proud of his Trip Advisor awards, so keep those reviews coming!

We used Joe Cool when we stayed in Runaway Bay and their service is top notch!! We not only hired them as a private transfer from the airport to our resort, we also booked them to take us to the "Blue Hole."Andre was our tour guide and he was awesome! He taught us about the local sights, helped us communicate with the natives, and waited for us until we were done our day at the Blue Hole. Andre took us to road stands to taste fresh native fruit and sugar cane and took us to a local bar to have a fresh cold Red Stripe. What a great way to experience the true Jamaican culture. It was exactly what we wanted! He also took us to a place to have amazing jerk chicken and beef patties. Joe Cool and his whole team are so friendly,pleasant and go out of their way to make everything fun. We will definitely use them again!!!

After searching the internet I decided to go with Joe Cool because of his great reviews on Trip Advisor and cheap prices. Joe Cool and Andre did not disappoint. As soon as we left the airport there was a car waiting to take us to Negril. Joe Cool and Andre were waiting with ice cold red stripes. They were both very friendly. We told them we were hungry and he recommended a jerk chicken stand that was delicious. When we ran out of beer he stopped and picked up some more ice cold red stripes. We were having so much fun with them that we decided to take a tour to their home town to the farm and local hangout the next day. This was a blast!! Going up in the mountains and seeing the locals was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Joe Cool and Andre. We will be seeing you guys soon!!
