There is a good store for provisions (Buck's), a dive shop, gift shop and the Bath and Turtle restaurant, nice for casual dining. The area is clean, and the yacht-watching is grand. On windy days, the ferry to Tortola departs from and arrives at the yacht harbor. Have lunch in the outside dining area and enjoy the sea breezes and Caribbean brews. No sighting of Mr. Freeman to date.

My husband I decided to take refuge at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour after an exciting day traveling from Cooper Island, visiting The Baths and sailing on Thomas Bay. The wind was increasing and the idea of a sheltered environment, a shower and a slip seemed very appealing. The slip prices are fair and reasonable at this marina. As we approached our slip assignment, Courtland, the dock hand and all round problem solver, helped us with the dock lines and maneuvering. The next day he once again appeared with the same helpful, knowledgeable enthusiasm as we bought fuel and set off for our next adventure. After checking in with the jovial and friendly woman in the office we were off to the showers. The facility is clean but as it is located next to the full service market and taxi parking lot the short walk was like stepping into another world, probably more so after having been on the water all day. The music from the taxi radios and open air bar across the road was at high volume. We decided to eat at the on site open air bar and restaurant, Rendezvous, where we could see the sunset. We sat at the bar and were delighted to meet Ana and Sterling who were charming, efficient and took care to help with phone charging, food, beverages and wi fi. My husband was very pleased with the Fish (grouper) and Chips. (We read that Ciguareta is found in some local reef fish such as grouper and causes illness. This restaurant is obviously attentive when purchasing their fish.) I enjoyed a tasty chicken roti with layers of dimension to the curry and chutney flavors. After dinner we enjoyed calm waters in this sheltered marina and eventually fell asleep in spite of the loud music nearby. It must not have played all night! But perhaps you want earplugs not only for the music but for the roosters who love to sing too!

Stayed here for the night after spending the day at The Baths before travelling up to North Sound. Very clean and well kept harbour. Easy to get water and air conditioning for the boat. Supermarket very handy for getting essentials. A choice of restaurants for the evening. Highlight was probably taking photos and videos of the pelicans circling above us and diving for the fish. Hours of entertainment. Quiet during the evening/night. We were glad we stayed here.

Beautiful harbour, with very sheltered moorings. Very nice little shop with food, drink & other essentials. Virgin Hoffa is such a beautiful island, & it's well worth going to The Baths (short taxi ride away) & to The Bitter End Yacht Club on the other side of the island.

Strolled around the fabulous yachts docked - what a life! We had drinks & lunch at The Bath and Turtle which is right on the property.

We love to sail in the BVI, and one of the best places to get supplies as you are sailing up to the top of Virgin Gorda Island to Saba Rock in the North Sound is The Yacht harbor and Spanish town. Lots of nice shops to browse thought and shop and If you are sailing you can get provisions and dump your garbage. Also this is a great place to dock at if you want to spend time at the Baths and cant get a mooring there.. which can often be the case. A taxi can pick you up take you there and bring your group back later on.It's a great short stop area when sailing.

Several stores, the marina restaurant was clean, fast with good simple food. Prices were fair and lots of drinks available. Bucks Supermarket can provide supplies for your Bar or Hotel Apartment it had alot of choices.

Although surrounded by amazing restaurants and of course natural beauty, The best thing about the Yacht Harbor is the "bustle" of the area. If by bustle you mean people parking in the roads and catching up, sleeping under palm trees, tying one on at the dockside bar, or re-stocking the boat. The Buck's supermarket at the yacht harbor is one of the best stocked grocers, and also carries your essential comforts like shampoo, water, and sunscreen. Just remember, you're at a yacht harbor when you get the tab at the end of the day. everything comes in on a boat!

I was on an 11-day cruise and one of the six ports we stopped at was Virgin Gorda, BVI. As we came into the harbor, we noticed how beautiful the water was, It was that clear teal and light blue. I was mesmerized! My group decided to engaged a cab driver to take us around the island. The island is 9 square miles and our tour lasted over two hours, the cost was $55 for two persons. I HIGHLY recommend Jeremy's Taxi Service. Jeremy is a young man and a great tour guide, born on the island, very knowledge and knows his island history. He stopped, often, to allow us photo opportunities and he took us to his favorite spots that highlighted the island. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island is Savannah, although it doesn't have bathroom facilities at that location. Although, it's the British Virgin Island, their currency is the US dollar and English is their main language, but they do have their own dialect on the island. The people were very friendly!

Tiene un mercadito para comprar cosas básicas. No esperen mucho más. Si el hotel les queda lejos, a veces es difícil encontrar taxi para volver.
