I had a gift certificate for a wrap and massage and asked a friend to join me. She called and booked a massage. When we arrived she went for her massage I went for my wrap then we had booked lunch and I was supposed to have a massage in the afternoon. The wrap was good and I was looking forward to the massage. My friend enjoyed her massage. We went for lunch, the lunch was an extra $25. We were served cheese slices with some crackers then chicken salad with a ton of mayonnaise. It was my fault that I did not check to see what was on the lunch menu, I just presumed there would be some options. I do not like mayonnaise and my friend who does like mayonnaise didn't eat much of it as it was saturated with it. There were no other options available and no refund offered. Then I was looking forward to my massage and she informed me it would not be available until 4.30. It was around 1pm as she had thought I was splitting the gift certificate with my friend. Although it is possible this could have been a genuine mistake, we had discussed the timing and my treatments in detail on the phone and my friend had called separately to book her massage so I felt very disappointed. I think the spa has promise and the people were nice, but it is not a place I will return.

We liked the food and the massage but disliked the way they charged us extra and even when we told them that this is not fair the old lady pretended she did not understand us!!!

My husband and I went for a massage for Valentine's day, and requested official receipts for our insurance. We were provided with 2 different receipts and asked why that was the case. They did not provide any explanation, and stated that they were both official and it was fine. It was rejected by the insurance company because it was not a registered massage therapist, as stated on the bottom of their website; if a registered massage therapist is required, it must be specifica...lly requested. One would assume that when requesting an official insurance receipt, it is because the massage therapist is registered. This information was totally ommitted, even when we asked about the receipts. I am not pleased, as this was $101 for myself and we have yet to receive the other claim statement, and I do not recommend this misleading and dishonest spa to anyone! Also, I requested a prenatal massage as offered on their website, over the phoen when booking, only to find out that they do not own any prenatal massage pillows, and I was very uncomfortable for the duration of the massage. This is totally unacceptable!
