So many people on the weekends. This use to be such a quiet beach when I was younger. It gained in popularity as time went on and the waterfront was made to be so amazing. The July first weekend is so popular, people travel over from the States to come to our waterfront festival! Bring lots of money with you for that weekend, they charge to get into everything where it used to be free. Is anything free anymore?

The Cobourg Beach gets very busy in the summertime, but considering it's not far from the city, it's a great escape.

Been here many times. Great place to walk dogs and for bird watching especially in the winter. Every aug they have a sandcastle completion which is very nice. The beach in summer is great for summer. The only drawback you now have to pay for parking except in winter. Washrooms are nice and clean but are closed in winter

I visited Victoria Park by Cobourg Beach in November and the display of lights was both charming and enjoyable. It is the perfect size for a small Canadian town, it is lovely to walk through, and it was able to get us in the holiday spirit. It is definitely worth it to visit after the sun sets with friends and family of all ages. There is, of course, no fee.

An extremely well-maintained beach is the major draw. It is groomed daily, with good sand (not rocky). There are covered picnic areas as well as two sets of playground equipment (climbers, etc.), swings, a concession stand, washrooms and a splash pad in the adjoining Victoria Park. There is also a small camper/trailer park at the west end of the beach. One of the nicest in Ontario.

Loved my day out here and later the fireworks. Beach is nice, long and clean. RV parking facility is available and there are plenty of shops at a walking distance from the beach. It also features changing rooms and kids playing area with shower and small fountains.

This beach is in the hub of Cobourg adjacent to A beautiful harbour and marina. There is Victoria park for Rv camping , a playground, free waterpark, picnic area and Bandshell for entertainment in the park. The beach is groomed every morning to keep it clean. We travel thoisands of miles with our RV and always comment on the fact that we would travel hundreds of miles to visit this area. However it is right in our back yard!

The beach is very large so lots of room to enjoy. Clean facilities and stores nearby.Even in the winter it is turned into a winter wonderland very nice place to visit.

While on a visit to Cobourg, we stopped by Victoria Park, which is a lovely park by the beachfront. If you are in town nearer to the Christams holidays, the park is filled with Christmas lights and decorations which are absolutely spectacular to see and walk amongst. It is beautiful and very special to see in person, so make sure to get out of the car and go for a walk. It feels enchanting and can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter what age.

If you are passing by, it will be nice to get off the highway for a quick "pit stop" or sit back by the harbour and enjoy the seen to regain energy to continue your trip.

Very popular sandy beach during the summer. Lots of waterfrontage to ensure everyone has easy access to the water. Clean facilities and stores nearby. Biggest problem will be parking as there aren't many nearby parking lots.

One of the nicest beaches in Ontario, and a pretty nice town to visit. Minutes off the 401, straight south on Division Street, with parking available on side streets and small pay lots near the beach. Stroll west along the beach to the harbour, and then further west along the boardwalk on the west beach. It's a little rockier, but quieter and a perfect place to sit and relax without the crowds. The downtown is very walkable, 2 blocks north and some great stores and restaurants. Like many other small towns, Cobourg has been struggling with the big box competitors, but the locals are very welcoming and appreciative of your business. Oh, and don't miss Victoria Hall while you're downtown. A caveat or two, parking is enforced with some zeal, so pay the machine and display. Also, please, dispose of any garbage in a responsible, environmentally respectful way, use the garbage cans, recycle when you can, and please don't sully this beautiful beach with litter.

they call themselves a resort town, I didn't believe it until I got to the beach and harbour - they don't exaggerate! we came back again and again.
