paddle to the sea park

In addition to having displays about the book Paddle to the Sea which were outstandingly done, the park had many play areas including a model of the Canoe with Indian in it that anyone can sit in or play in.

Based on paddling guru Bill Mason's famous "Paddle to the sea" film/book. Although this is not mentioned in any of the information presented, this is worth checking out..the informative displaysare well laid out and fun...especially if you have kids along!

In town for a reunion. This park is just steps away from my grandmothers and I have older kids. The park stations are well laid out and it gives a little history with each. The floor under each station is a nice cushy foam. There is a geocache near the park :)

Great spot for kids and adults alike. Nice playground with themed activity areas and information for adults. Can follow the story right down to the waterfront for a nice walk.
