This is a great place for photos. Although, if you are getting a professional shoot done, you may need a permit from the city.Well kept gardens. The only thing I would like is a better parking area - like brick paved.

A great place for reflection and calm. Right at the lake.We liked the scenic gardens and the peacefulness.

Gairloch Gardens is a place to relax. A place to take a stroll amongst beautiful flowers, breath taking scenery, and majestic trees. No bicycles allowed . You can walk all the way to the lake.The garden is also a home to Oakville Galleries. I just love the variety of flowers you can enjoy from spring to fall.

The gardens were so lush and beautiful. It's a perfect spot for photos or a little walk. It's a tranquil spot overlooking the lake.

Pretty spot and no cost to get in! Lots of ducks and geese and the gardens are very beautiful! You can walk down to the lake and it is a beautiful spot for pictures!

In the late summer the rose garden is in bloom and this is a really beautiful spot for pictures. The park is somewhat on the medium to smaller size, so don't expect to spend over an hour.

I come often to visit and take photos and love the new fountain features they added this year. Beautiful grounds, always well kept! Beautiful grounds to visit or get photos done at!

I have been to Gairloch a few times over the seasons to walk outside and visit the Oakville Galleries inside the house.The hours of the gallery are fairly restrictive though as it is volunteer run and admission is a donation then I find little to fault.The outdoor space is very well taken care off and makes a great walk after popping into Croissant Express down the road. We will often grab a coffee and sit by the water. No mater what time of year I have visited (probably 10 times) there have always been someone else there which is great to see and establishes it as a destination of the community which I feel is the purpose of it.Makes a great spot to walk, picnic, read, take photos or just stare at the lake.

Near the lake this nicely landscaped garden is great for a peaceful walk. Lots of photo opps too. The kids will enjoy the ducks and several ponds. Very nice.

Now and again when I want to view a nice garden I like to check this place in the part of town where the million dollar plus homes are located. This piece of property has been run by the town for years plus popular for wedding parties to have their pictures taken as well. Although young children maybe bored if you bring them for a tour but this place is very family friendly. Various flowers are on display and presented in different ways. Worth checking out if you are also in doing Garden Club tours as well!

A nice, smallish park geared more towards adults (read no playground equipment) with beautiful flowers and a beautiful view of the water

For a peaceful stroll by the lake, the setting was very pleasant. A nice blend of a multitude of flowers and water fowl allow for many beautiful photo opportunities.

very nice destination to go for a walk. their is usually swans swimming around at the lake. small parking lot so it could be difficult to find a spot especially if a wedding party is there which happens quite often in the warm months.

love this park - very peaceful sitting by the lake, and a truly spectacular rose garden. Watch out for the birds - the swans can be aggressive if they think you have food, but the Canada Geese are friendly !!

Of course this is a summer time place. There is always something blooming. Being beside the lake is just so relaxing. They have artwork to admire. When so many green spaces are being sold to developers this is one of the last gems on the lake. It seems so private that you could imagine it's yours. It's a favourite Sunday afternoon drive destination.
