shanty bay go-karts

Worse place ever. We came August 31,2014 paid for the family tickets of 25 for 3 people as my son went around the track bumped his sister by accident. My son was yelled at my the one of the girls working there whom kicked him off the track and refused to refund us our money for the reminder tickets we had left over. As I approached to ask her to let him back on she later yelled at me and insulted me. Horrible staff and not worth the money! Time to close this place down

This place is in a building just off of highway 11 southbound , north of BarrieThere is a Mcdoanlds inside as well. The bathrooms are the most rundown filthiest bathrooms I have ever encountered. I would not let my dog use them.Who ever is responsible for those should be ashamed of themselves.Do yourself a favour and stay far far away from this dump.

Decent size 1km track and the package prices are very good. The owner was nice and threw in two extra laps for us. Down side is some of the karts suck - mine barely moved with my foot floored on the gas. People in faster karts were lapping me. I felt humiliated because people probably thought I was either a bad driver or being slow and steady. Nope, I just wanted to race. You're allowed to pass but the track attendants were spacing people out as you pass the starting line so you couldn't really. Will try another go karting place next time.
