moose lake trading post

My husband and I rented a cottage at the trading post last summer and had a wonderful experience. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we loved every minute it. A small boat came with the cottage and we enjoyed fishing for most of our stay. Everything was provided including a gas barbecue for each cottage. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to do what they can to accommodate their guests. The lake is beautiful and the resort property allows for walks or just relaxing. We enjoyed our time there so much that we can hardly wait to go again this month. Give it a try ...you won't be disappointed

I passed by Moose Lake during my camping trip near Elliot Lake. The trading post store has a good variety of outdoor and indoor clothing, good fudge, souvenirs and gifts. The "death by fudge" maple flavoured fudge was addictive! I bought some home as souvenir gifts and everyone enjoyed it very much.I found an Owl theme pyjamas set made by Hatley, really comfortable and fun to wear. (^_^)The store decor inside and outside are interesting (including wooden rocking chairs outside), well lit, tidy and welcoming. Staff were smily and easy to talk to. The store including the bathroom facility look like a quaint little cottage. There is a gravel parking lot in front of the store for safe stop by --- no need to screech tires brake for an attraction (^_<)I would visit there again on my next camping trip. (^_^)
