horseplay niagara

Literally, it was so cold outside but the tour guide was very nice. I just wish I knew it was so far away from where I was staying. I stayed in niagara falls at the hilton and the horseplay location was 45 minutes away = $80/one way taxi ride. The horses were gentle and beautiful and the tour guide was very informative. Next time I'll wait until summer.

My husband and I went on the 5pm hour and a half ride to the lake and really enjoyed it! The guide (young blonde girl) in the back was quite friendly and seemed to be in control of all of the horses as we went along and seemed capable of helping out if anything were to go wrong. Make sure to let them know how much experience you have and weather or not you're nervous because each horse had it's own personality and they match them up well!! I was on a little feisty one but I have experience and it made my ride more enjoyable. They also have larger horses if you need a little extra weight stability. I think the brand new riders would have benefitted by a bit more instruction on the ground then maybe a refresher or more tips as we got started but overall the ride went smoothly. The only negative was the staff was hit or miss, the lady who worked the desk was a bit rude.

In the future, perhaps reserve a private ride so you may receive personal riding tips throughout the ride as well as being able to choose the parts of the trail you would like to spend more time at.
