we have had the opportunity of doing a few brewery tours over the years. This one was well done, had great explanations, and because it was small, we got to ask all sorts of questions. Our guide (Connor?) did a good job in answering all the questions and gave us more of a background on the bottling part of the operation than I have ever had. The tasting was nice - limited to only 4 types - but nicely explained again with lots of personal additions (food pairings, tasting notes, etc.) and we got some of the local history which then explained some of the names of the beers. All in all it was a great hour. The Groupon deal was also really a fine bargain.

Purchased a tour for four as part of a groupon deal. The tour was a complete disappointment for having paid. The facility is extremely poorly laid out for tours. We pretty much stood in their retail shop as the tour guide read off a piece of paper. It was super boring and not interactive at all. We next got to sample some of the beers, which were previously opened beers from other tours. They gave us half a shot each to try, which wasn't enough to truly appreciate each beer. I still cannot believe we paid for this tour. I think Railway City Brewing could learn a lot from other micro brewery tours.
