boyne valley provincial park

I love this place for the following:(1) totally free, park beside to trail entry points.(2) easily you can hike 12 Km with almost like a mountain terrain. (3) great look out on the middle with 512 m altitude and the parking areas are in the 380-400m.(4) superbly done boardwalks in water shed areas gives another beauty. (5) better have plenty of fluid and lots of calcium rich food before start the hike, it will hurt your bones especially knee area.

This park has no buildings or staff, just lots of deep valleys, high lookouts, meadows, and cedar forests. Lots of apple trees for fall visits, has always been a great place for bird watching as well. Camping is not allowed, more of a hikers haven not too far from the city.
