This was my first visit, and I loved the atmosphere, and the wonderful buffet luncheon. I would definitely go again.

The tournament that I attended at Wooden Sticks this summer was so well done that I would recommend anyone to host an event there! The meals (lunch and dinner) were extremely satisfying. I cannot wait for golf season to open next year!

Last week I had the opportunity to golf with some buddies at Wooden Sticks. I was impressed not only by the course with its famous replica holes from around the golf world, but the service and attention of the staff to all the small details that add up. The food, location, amenities etc. were second to none. I will definitely plan to go back during next year's golf season.

First off, i would like to commend the course maintenance crew and restaurant staff for exceptional quality at this course. I have made it a point to play this course several times a year in the past because the course conditions are always pristine, and the food is very delicious. Now, the biggest problem this course is experiencing is a lack of understanding the importance of 'pace of play'. Course starters and marshals have reduced their duties to just pleasantly saying 'hello' and 'what a gorgeous day!', instead of insuring that each tee time is teeing off at the right time, and groups on the course are moving along at a reasonable pace. When asking any course marshals if we can move things faster, they always give some excuse like 'you know, it's a gorgeous day and people are just moving a little slower than normal' or 'our pace of play is 4:55, so we are just a little behind'. I have no idea how they determined an almost 5 hour round as a normal 'pace of play' on a course that everyone is made to ride. Even Copper Creek guarantees a 4:30 pace of play! Over the past two years, rounds that I have played here have rapidly been increasing in time, to the point that I was forced to leave that last two times on the 12th hole because I had been playing for over 4 hours (with a 10:10 am tee time, that was delayed to 10:28 am- again because of a lack for respecting time at this course).Every golfer can attest to the frustration of paying a premium amount for a premium course, only to have to wait 5 minutes on very shot, lose their rhythm, and waste their day. It hurts that the management at Wooden Sticks would not put a little more effort in insuring that tee times start on time, and slow golfers just kept things moving at a reasonable pace.Save your money, pay a third of the cost of the green fees at this course, and play elsewhere (there are so many great golf courses far cheaper and better managed than this course). You will enjoy your round and save some hours in your day.Regards,A.M.

The chef at Wooden Sticks prepares an amazing selection of food that is sure to please everyone. I've had their beef tenderloin, fantastic and the best blue berry cheesecake I've ever had in my life. We had our daughter's wedding there this summer and were very happy with the service and food. I highly recommend it.

Took my son for his 14th birthday. Well kept, lovely course and the package deal really is good value for what you get. We had a good time and will be back.

While on the pricey side, this course is definitely worth the greens fee. The replica holes are spectacular and every time I have been there, the course has been in exceptional shape.

For the seasoned golfer this course is amazing. They have deals that also include two meals. The scenery and course are amazing

This year will mark our 7th consecutive year where a group of us from the Kingston, On area have done a stay and play in May. Our group size has ranged from 4 (first year) to 20. This year we expect to take all 6 cabins with 24 players on a 3 day 2 night stay. I can't give any higher praise to all the staff and management for all they do during our stay. The course, facilities, food and service is absolutely first rate. This event has become our "Super Bowl" of golf and looking forward to it helps many of us get through the winter!! My advice to all is to try and enjoy!!

I haven't played the course but I've eaten there many times - Wooden Sticks is a great facility for company banquets (like Christmas parties). Our Festive Holiday Banquet has been held there for the past 3-4 years and was enjoyed by all.

It's been about 8 years since I last played Wooden Sticks. I remembered it as a good course but thought the drive from Burlington to be a bit far. This weekend a friend really wanted to play the course so who was I to say no?Booking was very easy through their website though application of $1.50 service charge per player I felt to be over the top. This is the only negative comment I have. Booking was very easy however, We arrived at the course to be greeted by staff who unloaded our bags and valet parked the car. After changing in the well appointed locker room, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast that was included in the green fee. This was no your basic buffet. There were many choices from a menu and the quality and service was very good. Now off to the driving range to warm up. We were greeted by one of the professionals at the course who was offering free tips to anyone who wanted them. Demo clubs were also available on the range for trial. Practice facilities include range, target greens, chipping area and putting green. The course was in great shape as expected given all the rain this summer. Pace of play was quite good, considering we were playing behind a shotgun tournament. Marshalls were evident throughout the course ensuring that pace of play was good. The copy cat holes were a bit gimmicky however they stood up as challenging holes on their own. I must admit, however, the replica of the 17th at Sawgrass - the infamous island green - was a lot of fun. After the round, clubs were cleaned by bag room staff and automatically delivered to my car. We enjoyed the included 2nd meal with choices from an extensive lunch menu and departed the club house to find my car ready and waiting. This club offered a level of service that many private clubs never obtain.Challenge and course shape were excellent supported by great food. A great day was had by all and I have no qualms saying it was worth every penny of the $150 green fee.

My wife and I, along with another couple, recently enjoyed a stay and play at Wooden Sticks - the course was amazing in terms of detail of the replica holes and sheer beauty. The service and accommodations were top notch too. Helpful things like the pro being available on the practice range to offer tips or club demos and the service staff in the clubhouse were extremely competent. Also the variety and quality of the food on the menu was a surprise - not your typical clubhouse fare.

I played at Wooden Sticks on July 13th and had a great time. Although I shot a 90 it was an incredible experience. The course is quite challenging and will test you on most of your shots. I was lucky enough to win a free round on hole 11.I would recommend this course to anyone interested in testing how good they are. Hole 17 was intimidating when I played this course for the first time but with this being my fourth trip it was just another short par 3.

I have golfed all across this country and on some of the top courses. This experience was second to none. The impeccable shape of the course combined with an amazingly courteous staff made for a golf trip to remember. The staff and course marshals were very friendly and helpful. The course was full but the pace of play was great. Guaranteed to do this course again. Cheers to the staff. Keep up the great work...
