The food and service were both excellent as well as the views - overlooking the golf course! Was there originally for a wedding and it was also wonderful. A bit, okay a lot, on the expensive side but worth a visit as a special treat!

Excellent golf course with beautiful scenery. Perfect location for any event. Very good service, clean facilities. Food is subpar - don't expect to be wow'ed. Don't know what prices are as I attended for corporate holiday party.

Its a great course. Bit on the expensive side, but well worth the money, cheaper on the weekends because the primarily cater to the business during weekdays. tough long par 4s. very well kept.Their patio is awesome and definitely our new hangout place. Overlooking the 9th/10th its a great place to enjoy some food and drinks high up in the air.

It's a wonderfully designed and laid out course. The clubhouse is beautiful, grounds very well kept, and a guarantee of 4.5hrs. If they don't keep to the time, they offer a graduate reward system. A very small amount of money compared to the cost of a round. They were over 20 minutes behind and I got a $20 gift certificate towards another round. Again, a small gesture since a round of golf is $200! Yes, quite a bit of cash - is it worth it? If you are going there for the full experience for the whole day and you enjoy playing top courses - Yes. If you are a hacker and like to just get out - No. I'm somewhere in between.I personally would not play this place unless it was for business...only. The last few rounds I played, it has been a hosted day out or a tournament. Now, about the play.Depending on your tee-off preference, you can be anywhere from 10 to 60 yards from forward to tip. I would recommend not playing the tips (copper) unless you are at least a scratch-dude.The 9th approach and the 10th hole is considered to be their signature holes. The elevation change and challenging course play of #10 is quite attractive. The greens are generally fast, they had sand on the fairway but it didn't affect the play. I would play this track again but not often since I really can't see myself paying $200 each time I step up to spend a frustrating afternoon.

Copper Creek is gem of a course. It is fair test and consistenty in excellent shape. If you have the time have a drink in the back of the clubhouse and enjoy the beautiful view. This course has a 4 1/2 hour guarantee so the Marshall's are out to ensure the pace of play is appropriate. I hope you enjoy this track like I have over the years.

Great food with a ton of variety. Staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful!Set priced buffet allows you try many things, as there are many things to try....you'll probably end up skipping dinner.Very good, we'll be back

Copper Creek offers a pseudo private club golfing experience. The service - from the time you pull up to the bag drop to checking in the pro shop and being greeted on the first tee - is excellent. Also very much appealing is the 4.5 hour round guarantee. At a time when high handicappers act like tour pros on the course it's nice to see a course try to make play move along at a decent pace. Our group played quickly (we were just three) and while the round felt slow we did finish in less than the guaranteed time. I have no idea what you get if they guarantee is not met.Copper Creek offers a nice variety of holes and terrain. There's elevation change, water (to much), strategically placed bunkers and demanding holes. The course is close enough to Toronto to make it an easy trip for a round of golf.I did find the $140+ round for a weekend in mid-October to be a little steep, however.

Delicious food, scenic golf course surroundings and a great place for Sunday brunch. If you have a special occasion, they will section off an area for your guests.

I belong to a private golf club and went there with some friends in the fall. I cannot wait to go back next summer. The front nine is spectacular. The back nine reminds me of Lionshead golf course. The club house is nice but I found the food a little over priced. Typical of this type of course. But I was there for Golf, not food.I understand that they do lots of weddings etc. Great Location.

havent actually golfed here but have been here for functions. The view is breathtaking, the course appears to be well groomed and well kept. The facilities are very sumptuous

I was truly amazed that this gorgeous golf club is public and affordable. It oozes richness and quality. It is a spectacular course that has great challenges throughout. The club house is austentacious and I loved it. Their catering service is excellent. Worth the short trip from the hustle of Toronto.

We went for a brunch buffet and there was quite a variety of foods that could please everyone. There was also a separate area for desserts and yes... I indulged and tried most of them! Some were just okay, but I thought some were very good. I would consider trying it again.

This review is long overdue. We had my daughter’s wedding at Copper Creek Golf Club in July 2010. We had both the ceremony and reception onsite and everything was truly amazing and exceeded our expectations! Here’s a rundown of the key details.Ceremony site – The patio was large enough to accommodate our nearly 250 guests although some guests elected to watch the proceedings from the balcony, which was fine. The actual ceremony took place under the gazebo which was roomy enough to accommodate the wedding party (8), the minister, and a 3 musicians (including a rather large cello!). The patio overlooks the very well kept golf course and lake. The setting was just perfect when my daughter made her grand entrance from the balcony, down the winding staircase, where she met her father and I at the bottom of the stairs, across the patio, and finally, up the aisle to her awaiting groom. Tip: we timed her entrance at the rehearsal (about 3 minutes) so we could let the musicians know how long they would need to play for.Cocktail hour – Immediately following the ceremony, the servers came down the stairs to serve the happy couples’ “signature drink”. This was something the Copper Creek event planner suggested and I’m glad we took her advice because it was a nice touch that our guests appreciated. She also suggested having buckets with bottled water available for our guests from the beginning so they could help themselves while they waited for the ceremony to start which was another thoughtful, much appreciated touch.Key to making your guests comfortable during cocktail hour while the couple takes their wedding pictures is giving them a place to sit. Here again the Copper Creek venue is perfect. There were plenty of bistro tables and chairs on the patio, balcony, and for those who didn’t appreciate the July sun, inside in the very spacious lobby area.Reception site – The reception was held in the grand ballroom. I think they advertise the capacity as 400 but I think that would be tight if you wanted to have a large dance floor as we had. We had 250 people at the wedding and it was perfect. Friends of ours went to another wedding there with 350 guests and commented that it was “a bit tight”. Having two large bars at either end of the ballroom was essential to avoiding line-ups and avoiding having guests congregating outside the room.My daughter hates chair covers so she was thrilled that the standard chairs in the room were lovely – clean, elegant, and comfortable – so that saved us some money. The standard linens were also nice (ecru) so we didn’t have to upgrade those either.Another really nice thing about the venue is the variable table sizes. It made preparing the seating plan, typically a stressful endeavor, quite easy because we didn’t have to try to fit everyone into tables of 8 or 10 or even 12 (they have all three sizes).Food – Where do I start? This is arguably the most important part of a wedding; and certainly what guests most remember. From the delectable h’or deuvres during cocktail hour (including a sushi station manned by an expert sushi chef!), to the main four course dinner (garden salad, home-made gnocchi pomodoro, NY striploin, skewers of shrimp and scallops with pernod sauce, roast potatoes, green beans, home-made mango and raspberry sorbet), to the late night savoury and sweet stations (regular and sweet potato fries, sliders, grilled cheese, pizza, porchetta, French pastries and assorted fruit)…everything was absolutely delicious!Service - Everyone was very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and main event allowing us to relax and truly enjoy ourselves. Service was flawless. Because rain had been forecasted, they even took the initiative and setup a backup ceremony site in their ground floor banquet room (that was beautiful), just in case. It’s these details that truly set Copper Creek apart from most competition.
