If you're a fan of racing this is when you want to visit PEI and the track! The cards of racing are great and so are the attractions fro Old Home Week. You can't beat the people, the horse and they racing or the seafood!

Decided to try something different for New Year. Went to the horse races. You can bet as little as $2.00 on a race. Venue had a private party on lower level and restaurant on second level overlooking the race track. It was a beautiful winter evening warmed by hot coffee, winning bets and friends. Saved toasting the new year until car and me safe at home.

We were there for the Buffet. Great selection and excellent food. We found the price a little too pricey, but all in all it was good.

Wonderful view. The stairs can be an obstacle so it that is an issue you need to ask for seating on the top area. Buffets are beautifully displayed and have a great variety of delicious food. Have been to a number of them and think the Italian one is my favorite. Always a great drink special as well!

Red shores always has a super buffet of quality food. Great value and you can watch live races while you eat.

I viewed the racetrack from a short distance away... was impressed by the manicured grounds and the track that was in use for training

Love the casino altho' drinks should be brought to us at our machines. I believe we should have a decent discount at the 'upstairs restaurant' to encourage us 'gamblers' to use the facilities more. I spend hundreds of dollars at the casino. Maybe that's worth at least 20% off a meal????

First time at harness racing, every thing was explained very well by the staff,Emily the wagering attendant from Burlington was very awesome with us and we had a lot of fun. Not sure we made money but we laughed a lot. It was Rib night at the buffet and they were great but the pasta with squash and goat cheese was the star of the show. the dessert selection was great and it changed as the evening went on. Overall a fun night with a great group at a great facility.

Visited the Red Shores Racetrack and watched live harness racing. We stayed for the buffet. Great food and awesome selection. Seating was tiered so not a bad seat in the house. Fun way to spend an evening. You received a free program as well so that you can bet on horses. Popped over to the Casino for a bit. Small but had a number of slots. No table games that we saw anyways.

We were with a group and literally waited hours for food. Track was nice, hard to hear the announcer.

Really enjoyed the horseracing! A great night out! Sat outside under a heated tent so had a great view. The ticket counter guy was awesome - very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this as a night out in Charlottetown!

What can I say - if you like harness racing you'll like it. The casino is really small, though. I had fun.

Made my donation & hopefully helped the Island economy. !! Very disappointed buffet not avail. Staff friendly. Couldn't get a "Player's Card" system down.
