bees 'n teas

We stopped here on our short trip on Salt Spring Island. There were lots of teas to purchase and honey from the hives. We were able to walk up the path to see the hives and talked with the beekeeper. It was fun!

We were on the hunt for honey and found our way here. It turned out to be a perfect stop. The cup of cold tea with a bit of honey did a number for my wife's head cold, the kids got to watch the bees through a viewing window into a comb (and even find the queen!), and the selection of honey, teas, and various cups and candles made for interesting gift selections for friends. This is well worth the time to check out!
