burgoyne bay provincial park

I walked here with my wife and dog. What a great view! Quite an easy hike and well maintained path. Keep pets on leash as this is a preserve for Garry Oaks.

We didn't know what to expect. Great view and interesting history.We would like to visit in the summer and go exploring.

Check this out, it has a beautiful trail that is easy to walk on. Very well maintained, with old trees and incredible views of the harbour and of Vancouver Island.

We could not find any interpretive signage or material. The old farm looks interesting but there is no information. The road tot he ocean could be beautiful but it appears it is more of a boat launch, hang out for locals than a destination for sightseers and visitors.

The tourist information centre gave us a map of where to find this very easy and leisurely walk through the forest along the bay. It is a great walk if you're not looking for anything too strenuous.

Beautiful area with a nice walking trail. Lots of boats in the bay - mostly lived on. A couple of cute European-style stone buildings that date back to when there was a dairy farm in the area.
