take the long mountain trip. It's worth every dime you spend. The place looks just like you expect a dog camp to look. The guys couldn't have been nicer and YOU get to drive the sled!!

We Did It! We climbed the 40' ice wall at Mont Tremblant. It is located out of the way underneath the gondola lift. Our wonderful, experience instructor met us at the Activity Center at the top of the village. He fitted each of us with crampons that fit over our ski boots. We also received harnesses and helmets as well. We hiked up to the wall and began our instruction. We had a small class so were able to make several trips up the wall. We worked up a sweat and really enjoyed ourselves. It's not as hard as you would think.Things you should know. Yes, you have to be in some sort of physical shape. We all did well, but you have to be able to kick . Using the cramptons on your ski books, you make dents in the ice for your footing. What to wear: ski clothing (definitely your older pair of ski pants), light gloves, googles, and ski boots. We took the village gondola from our hotel to the top and returned the same way. This way we could wear our ski boots and not have to bring another pair of shoes to walk the village.

Did the private two hour trip. The drive from Mt. Tremblant is about 25 minutes. I brought along my GoPro 3+ camera, but did not have the proper helmet mount for it. No problem!! The guide took camera in his hand and made a video of me following him. That was so much better than having the camera on my helmet. Also did a photo of me on the machine. The machine was top of the line SkiDo. Great snowmobile suit. Next time will do the full day.

We did the dog sledding mountain adventure. You are picked up from the activity center located near the base of the mountain. From there, you are shuttled to the dog sledding area (about 40 minute ride). If you are prone to car sickness, I suggest you grab a seat in front of the van. Upon arrival, you are brought into a yurt where the guide will give you instructions on what to do (there are quite a number of instructions so pay attention!) For each sled, there are about 7-8 huskies that will pull you. There is a passenger sitting in the sled, and a "musher" that is standing behind the sled and "driving" the sled. Driving the sled is definitely much harder than it seems! The driver must help the dogs when going uphill by pushing the sled, and leaning in the direction the sled should be going. I think most of the sleds we were with turned over at least once, or had the driver fall off. No one was injured, just short set backs but make sure you are fit enough for this. The ride is ridiculously beautiful so be sure to bring your gopro. I tried taking some pictures and videos with my iPhone 6 but it kept shutting off due to the extreme cold. At the end of the ride, you are led back to the yurt for some hot cocoa, cookies, and to sit in front of the fire. When we went, they brought in two adorable huskie puppies for a meet and greet. I'm glad I was able to mark this off my bucket list but it was definitely harder than expected!Side note: There are no formal facilities. Just a port-a-potty (which was pretty clean). There is no storage (you can leave items in the yurt if you'd like), but if you have a purse, the person in the sled can hold it.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 teen/pre-teen children made reservations for several snow related activities through the Activity Centre. The day we arrived, we did dog-sledding and enjoyed it tremendously. The next day, the weather unexpectedly warmed up and the activities that we had planned for the next several days were not possible (ice climbing and snowmobiling). The Activity Centre allowed us to change and substitute activities multiple times as other activities also became unavailable due to the warm weather. The ones that we did do were well planned and well guided. We look forward to coming back to Mont Tremblant and doing some of the activities that we could not do this year.

I reserved our dog sledding activity through the activity center with a phone call. The staff was very professional, they could answer all our questions quickly in a welcoming manner.

We took a trip out from Montreal where we were staying on vacation to Mont Tremblant specifically to try the zip lining activity and had a great time! The whole family really enjoyed our time there and our guide, Gabrielle, was excellent. The zip lines are interspersed amongst other various obstacles such as wire rope bridges etc. between the trees. Some of these are accessed by ladders up to platforms and this requires some level of physical exertion. The basic instructions given before the course were key to ensuring you can enjoy the course safely so one should pay close attention to them. Upon booking it seemed a little expensive but the course does take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete with many obstacles and several zip line runs and it's been probably the best experience we've had all week so it was well worth the money!

Highly recommend. This was the highlight of our vacation. Our treehouse over looked a beautiful little lake and lots of good hiking trails. I travelled with three early teenage girls and they all loved it. Didnt even notice or cared that they had no cell service. Also the fact that there is no motorized vehicles allowed makes it truly peaceful.

It was a perfect day-New Year's Day, perfect weather: 15-20 degrees below, perfect group of friends and I went on our skiing, snowboarding trip here. Since it is my first time trying out snowboarding, I stayed in the bunny slope and took lesson. Gotta say, I've always found French language sexy, it is even sexier when spoken to by a French guy who happened to be my snowboarding instructor :). Had a good time learning and enjoying the scenery. Beautiful place to visit and I heard it is one of the best places to ski/snowboarding. One off my bucket list items! Would love to come here again but I'm sure it won't ever beat the first impression I had of this place. Good memories!!!Disclaimer: Trip was back in January, 2010

There are so many choices of activities at Mont Tremblant, it can be overwhelming. And there are even three choices of dogsledding. But the one in the mountains is just stunning. Breathtakingly beautiful and unbelievable fun. Bertrand, Kathy and Rose are not just great sledding experts and guides, they are wonderful hosts. And the huskies are an extraordinary, joyful force of nature. I'm no dog lover, but the huskies won me over. The whole outing - even the drive through the more remote parts of the mountains - was unforgettable. If you do one activity at Mont Tremblant, it shoudl be this.

Booked the Nordik experience tour through the activity center at tremblant. The day we were suppose to do it, it was rained out. But they called us as soon as they knew and rebooked us for a different day. That day was much nicer out, and the tour was great. They provide transportation, snow suits, helmets, and obviously the snowmobile, which were fairly new 2012 machines. They were in extremely good working order and we felt very safe on the tour. I was a passenger, my husband drove. It was his first time, but the snowmobiles were pretty easy to work. Depending on when you go dress really warmly, the sniwmobiles go fast and that makes it feel much colder. we definitely enjoyed this tour!

While frightfully expensive - with their 18% tax, $679 for a family of five, it is a pretty special and certainly memorable experience (and at the end of the day that is probably what it costs a family of five to ski for the day at Tremblant). Expect about 2.5 hours from when you leave until when you are brought back. About one-half of that is sledding. There is tons of interaction with the dogs if that if your thing. The guides actually count on the guests to help them get the dogs from the kennel portion out to the sleds and then harnassed. At the end their is plenty of time for photos and to play with the two or three puppies they always seem to have aroundThe guides seem genuinely caring and happy to be spending their working time with the dogs and the clients.Adults travel in pairs on one sled, with one driving and one the passenger and you switch halfway through. There are guides around to help those who need it. Both my wife and I managed to overturn the sled once during our half of driving. Going uphill the driver needs to jump off and help the dogs push just a bit. It is a bit of a challenge but great fun and you catch on quickly. It did not seem like an activity that that someone with physical problems or a complete couch potato would enjoy. Children are assigned to a sled with guide driving but get to take turns standing on the drivers rails.Highly recommended.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were lovely and informative. The guides really helped you before and during the activity. The huskies are beautiful. Yes its expensive, but its well worth every penny. How often can you say you've sledded through the mountains being pulled by huskies. If we could do it again, then we would, but we're only on a short vacation. For the gentleman thats complained about the length of the activity and how long it takes to get there this doesn't stack up. Its states the length of the activity and duration it will take to get there on the website. We actually enjoyed the drive as you got to see more of Canada and the guide is so chatty the she tells you lots of things about the dogs and Canada. My husband and I would definitely recommend it to children and adults. It was amazing.
