If you like the Australian Mallee, and even if you do not have a particular interest in birds, take your camping gear and visit this reserve. It is a lovely place, only 50 km from sealed roads, and yet it could be way out in the bush it is so secluded and quiet. Check the website for details before going as you must be fully self-contained. Volunteer rangers care for the property. We were warmly welcomed and assisted in every way to prepare for our all two short two-night stay.
