The best raspberries! They've got lots of raspberry products like jams, lip gloss, chocolate covered raspberries, etc. Nice place to go for a dessert and a walk around :)
Called in for afternoon tea. Staff were all very welcoming and the setting was lovely. We ordered desserts that were presented beautifully and tasted even better. Would recommend stopping for a treat and we will definitely go back next time we are in Tasmania.
We went to the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm 3 years ago, and when planning a trip back to Tasmania were determined to make it there again. This time was my Husband's birthday, and we gorged ourselves on the beautiful raspberries with breakfast. The atmosphere out on the deck and down below overlooking the grass then the lake is just lovely, and we loved playing ball with our 22 month old daughter, before following the path around to the where the raspberries are grown.Definitely don't leave without buying a TRUCKLOAD of chocolate-coated raspberries and some raspberry jam.
We stopped to buy some Raspberries on the way to catch the Spirit Of Tasmania and also purchased some Blacberries. The Raspberries were great but unfortunately the Blackberries must have been picked when wet as they went mouldy within a day even though refrigerated. My wife spotted the chocolate coated raspberries and so we had to have some of these as well - it was a wise choice as they were terrific. They also have a cafe but we have not eaten there so cannot comment on this.
Very disappointed again! A "very" small bowl with lettuce underneath a Mexican "mush" topped with a spoonful of sour cream and a teaspoon guacamole ... $17... our 10 year old child could make a more tasteful meal! Obviously they rely on tourists as being a local I will never go back!! Stick to growing and selling raspberries!
There is a cafe at the raspberry farm, but their is also a fridge and pantry area near the entrance where you can buy ice cream, jams and choc covered raspberries. Don't go home without the choc covered raspberries!!!!
We popped in on our way through. Super yummy. We bought jam and fresh fruit. Good prices. The cafe was busy and looked good
Stop on way to launceston ,It was very very busy , staff were very friendly with the exception of the tall European lady who had a job to smile and served the meal and asked if it was okay with no interest what so ever ,looking at deserts on other tables they looked great ,I ordered the mushrooms and having had several resturant meals over the last few days ,this was by far the most expensive and bland tasting dish I've had for sometime very dissapointing Fortunately the box of chocolate raspberries we brought on the way out were very yummy even if they are $50 a kg
We stopped here on our way back from Cradle Mountain. What a find. The area was beautiful, the food was great and, if you like berries - you will be in heaven. The service was good and we spent a lovely hour dining on the porch.
Great food but maybe a little expensive. Have tried most on the menu but always went back to the stuffed mshrooms .
Great attraction with nice restaurant and extensive range of berry produce to purchase in the front of the property.A bit pricey but very tasty.
I stopped by to get some raspberry jam for a friend Lovely cafe, gardens and also beautiful ice cream reasonable priced. I would highly recommend it!
On our second trip to Tassie, we decided to visit here again. We called in for an early lunch, everything was delicious. Would recommend especially to buy some of the chocolate covered Raspberries.
Fabulous extensive menu and also licensed. Gorgeous lush surroundings and an open fire on colder days. You can book or just drop in but it is very popular. You can also buy raspberry wine, jams, salad dressings etc. to take home, also a little pricey but they look wonderful. This is a story book pretty part of the world so check it out!
been twice now during my visit to Tasmania, both times for breakfast and both times very good. Easy to find, good food and very friendly staff. Would love to see the lake water lilies in flower but maybe next time. Take the back roads from Launceston, better scenery.
