We played on a stunning day in summer, and the 9 hole course was interesting and also beautiful.The men mostly had two different tees, so 18 holes proved quite different, but the ladies only had one different tee, but that didn't spoil the experience, particularly for someone who could never play a hole the same way twice anyway..!!!The lush parkland course has watered greens, and the trees planted (presumably when the course was built in the 1950's) are now very mature. It really is beautiful, and also has many challenges to keep you on your toes.Do not expect the maintenance to be like a city course however, the tees were not mown well when we played, but the rest of the course was really pretty good for a tiny communities golf course. We took our own golf clubs, and were able to have the use of pull buggies. They do not have a vast array of facilities though.Look out for the gnomes and the toadstools, and enjoy the experience, we most certainly did and would definitely return.
