Spent the afternoon wandering amongst the old steam engines full of history and working model replicas well worth the trip

Wow this place has lots of odd things such as a collection of barb wire and railway tracks as well as the usual Steam Engines etc and tons of other things a great place to spend a couple of hours

My husband and I have visited Pearn,s steam world a few times and it is very interesting for a lot of things of the past like steam engines ,tractors etc and is a great experience for the whole family.

The 2 big sheds of steam powered farm equipment will keep any steam buff/engineer quiet for hours. Lots of interesting facts to go with the tractors. The best thing was the little steam train ride around the perimeter of the complex.

We visited Pearn's Steam World as part of our holiday in Tassie and found it to be an exceptional place to visit. The volunteer guide on the day gave us some extraordinary insight into the Pearn family and the exhibits that have been gifted to the people of Tasmania. Be sure to ask about the music box and "mini-baler" made by the last remaining member of the original Pearn Brothers!!
