We went up for a Sunday lunch and the view is just lovely. Food was great with matching wines as an optionUnfortunately I found the service to be a little off on this dayNot once did our water or wine get topped up and the meals took quite a while to come out.

Had a lunch here after it was recommended by friends. Lovely countryside location close to town. Great food and service. Would recommend to all.

This is a wonderful restaurant in the foothill just outside Ulladulla on the South Coast of New South Wales. It is a family owned and operated restaurant, winery and most recently a boutique brewery. The view is outstanding especially at lunch and a lovely spot for dinner. The food and wine are excellent and definitely a must for your dining bucket list for the South Coast. This venue is very popular and should be booked as far ahead as possible to ensure you aren't disappointed.Main Courses are in the mid to high $30 - $35 range with entries in the $20 - $28 range. Wine selection is good and prices are from the mid - $40 to $80 - $90 for something special. A very good bottle of win is around $6.

We were on holidays iat the coast and were taken to this restaurant by friends who live in the area - wow so happy that we went! We had a really wonderful meal, the food was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and had just the right amount of initiative and friendliness. The wine was delicious and the views are spectacular!

We had a late lunch booked in on Sunday. We arrived a little early and were directed to the patio to wait for our table to be ready. There was live music and a bar, which you could order light food from whilst you wait. We were seated in the restaurant with a really great view. The sun slowly traveled closer and closer to us eventually so we asked to be moved, which the staff were more than happy to assist with (other patrons followed our lead and also moved into the restaurant away from the sun). The food was delicious, and fresh. The only think I can fault is that we waited a very long time for the entree and main. We had the Charcuterie board for two as a starter and waited about 30mins for it, which wasn't so bad. The main however, took 90mins to get to us, the restaurant was busy but I have been to many places where there was a full house and the food came out at a reasonable time! We were starving, but we waited. It was a relief that it was really worth the wait. The desert was seriously one of the best I have had in a long time, it was the vanilla and caramel parfait. All in all, I would come back here if I am ever in the area and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We booked the restaurant for lunch and I must say that the food was surprisingly great for a winery. We ordered the ploughman's lunch platter to share for entree and it came with a very generous wedge of creamy cheddar cheese which was delicious with the pickled relish and bread. My husband had the duck breast and I had the blue eye which was both delicious (the skin of the fish could be a bit more crispier) with a generous serving size. The service and the view was lovely for a nice sunny afternoon. After lunch, we checked into the cottage on the winery for a night's stay given that all the reviews have been excellent so we were expecting a great stay. I have to say though, it was a bit disappointing as we were expecting a well maintained, classic-vintage decorated cottage but it was not even close to what I'd expected. The cottage was old which was fine but some of the furniture and fittings needs a bit of an update or clean. The upholstery on the main lounge needs cleaning, the bedrooms looked nice but again the main king bed mattress definitely needs replacing as it basically sunken (I don't like very soft beds myself but if you like beds that have no support for your back and disturb the other person when you move then you might like it.) So we had to stay in the other room with the Queen size bed (lucky it was just my husband and me).The bathroom is located at a very inconvenient place of the cottage right at the back behind the kitchen where as the bedrooms are at the front which makes going to the toilet a bit inconvenient during the night (for me at least as I was 6 month pregnant and needed to go to the loo frequently). BUT the thing that we were most annoyed with and couldn't wait till we checked out was the amount of MOZZIES in this place! There was no fly screens on the two main doors and most of the fly screens on the windows needs replacing as some had holes or frames had gaps so we ended up killing about at least 10 mosquitoes before we could even go to bed and both my husband and I couldn't really have a restful sleep! (there was only 1 air con located in the hall way with no ceiling fans). Beside the location being a bit special on the winery, the stay was really average. Overall, go to the restaurant, if you want to stay at the cottage, it's better with another couple as there isn't much to do around there and the squeaking / wobbly old floor boards was a bit creepy and definitely bring your own mozzy repellants!

Been coming to Cupitts for years, and its far and away the best in the Milton/Mollymook/Ulladulla area. Even after the extensions creating more table space, which you might expect would lead to slower or erratic service... no, it was still personal, knowledgeable and attentive. The menu is adventurous, but not too extensive and is presented with care and great attention to details. The desserts have to be some of the best I've ever had!

Beautiful wedding venue, incredible food and service. I believe the food for day time visits is equally as wonderful. Views are beautiful.

I'm a riesling girl and I do love a good sticky. This was worth a drive from Mollymook (and indeed much further) all by itself. All the wines we good. The rose, chardonnay and cabernet all worth a mention, and I don't normally drink chardonnay so that is saying something. The gentleman who served us was charming and informative. Its a very beautiful spot and a lovely drive to get there. We established the kids with some scones at the table next to the cellar door so we could see them through the window while trying the wines. A win- win arrangement!Go for the riesling alone. The other great wines are a bonus!

Cupitt's holds a special place in our hearts, it's where my husband proposed to me which seemed only fitting that we spent our 1st wedding anniversary here too.We stayed in the cottage on the property. If you crave serenity and relaxation, this is the place for you. We were truly able to relax. The restaurant - The Vineyard Kitchen combined with the delicious wines from the cellar top it all off for an amazing weekend. The staff are very friendly and happy to help at any time. The cottage is 2 bedrooms - sleeping up to 4 people with comfy double beds in each room and is self contained with breakfast bits provided - eggs, milk, cereal, tea and coffee etc. There is a nescafe coffee pod machine so bring your own coffee if you prefer instant. The TV has a built in DVD player and USB capabilities. There is a stereo also but if you have an ipod, bring your connector cable to hook it up. The cottage does have that amazing rustic look and feel that is stereotypical of a cottage. There is a working fireplace for that extra piece of comfort on cold nights or the air-con is also a recent installment for relief from the summer heat. Not far from Milton / Ulladulla for any grocery shopping or to eat out at the numerous restaurants around town - recommend pilgrims vegetarian for breakfast or a light lunch.Must do's for dinner are The Vineyard Kitchen at Cupitts (love the food team!!) and also Rick Stein at Bannisters in Mollymook about 30mins drive from Cupitts. Need to book in advance for both restaurants.Cupitts - we love you and will see you again.Sean & Rebecca Boniface

Visited here for afternoon tea. Lovely outlook which reminded one of our group a little of Tuscany. Service a little nose in the air. Nicest scones, jam and cream I have ever enjoyed.

Windows couldn't be left open as Screens on windows no good. Nothing updated for what looks like 100 years (same age as house). A fresh coat of paint would help. Not a boutique cottage that's for sure. NOT AN ENJOYABLE STAY AT THIS ESTABISHMENT AT ALL!!!
