I went to the gold class to enjoy the advertised treat yourself experience. Yes the comfort of the seats were very good and the service has good enough ! But the food was very dissapointing,we ordered the $ 60 seafood platter to share and it was very sad , I could have eaten better for $20 at any fish and chip shop,it came out very dark and greasy as if it had been cooked in very over used oil and portion size was not good value for the cost.next time we go ,we will be eating at one of the restaurants near by first!

Have been here a few times. Went with friends yesterday to see Taken 3. Vmax is worth it as you will get plenty of space and comftable chairs. Expect to pay a little bit. If coming to this place, grab a movie deal. You would be best to join online as every 6th movie is free. Candy and Refreshments are avaialble, as well as a Gold Lounge.

Maybe they are gearing themselves more for online ticket sales, but took 3 people to work out how to sell me movie ticket. Besides this upset, kiosk had a wide selection of snacks, cinemas are well maintain & A/C good.

We recently booked a large group of tickets online and it was straight forward. We love visiting Chermside Complex and enjoying a movie and never have any dramas. The staff are normally friendly and helpful and we don't mind a churro or hot food from Scoop Alley.

I like Event Cinemas because you know what to expect when you go there. Though they are more expensive than other places, you get what you pay for here.

We stayed in Chermside and it was a bonus to be near Event Cinemas. Only wished we had not gone to Gold Class at Event Cinemas at Chermside. We ended up in one of the front seats and felt like everything in the movie was on top of us. We ordered two lots of sliders and they were so awful, even my hubby who eats everything, refused the second one. I'm not sure what it was but they were more like sloppy sauce mini burgers. We have been to Gold Class many times in different areas and had no complaints but this was disappointing considering you pay for a reasonable experience.

My favourite movie venue is Event Cinemas at Chermside. It is a great place as you can do your shopping, have a meal and go to the movies all under one roof.It is quick and easy to pick up tickets and there is plenty of variety for all the family.

We visited the Gold Class facility at the Chermside Cinemas and had a really good time. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the experience is exceptionally good, just make sure that you do go to see a very good movie, when and if you do go. Drinks and food is served at your seating, at the time you request and the seats are very relaxing.

Sorry to post this on Chermside's site but can't find Carindale.Terrible service, 5 staff in Gold Class and was still 45 minutes before we got served our wine. 2nd glass ordered never came. Food order was wrong, no apologies! Will NEVER go back.

Very pleasant theatre to take my grandsons, courteous staff, clean theatre, good election of movies, safe environment

Clean and comfortable but frighteningly expensive food. Could always purchase from elsewhere, but as for the cinema itself, with such large screens it is easy to be fully immersed in the film.

A costly trip to the movies. Over priced, stale popcorn and unfriendly staff. The theatre was dirty with the rubbish still on the floor.

I can get cheap tickets from Telstra, if I didn't, I wouldn't go to the movies. The staff have always been helpful and friendly here, and the place seems to be kept reasonably well.

I have been to gold class here a few times and it is very old. I don't know who's idea it was to have recliners made of fabric? Every time I go you sit in a seat that feels wet and cold from other peoples not quiet dry sweat. The chairs are also very saggy and I don't think they have ever been replaced. Definitely not worth over $40 a ticket. The food selection id also very limited and very expensive for what it is. $20 for 4 mini burger that are literally 4 bites? I don't think so? However their sweet potato chips a pretty good.
