Beautiful waterfall. you can listen to falling water hours and hours and relax. When you tired and hungry drive to Ravenshoe hotel and enjoy you lunch and glass of wine.

What an interesting fall and the history of it reminds us of how it was formed, a legacy of volcanic activity in the area hundreds of years ago. I have seen a few waterfalls but this is much wider and just as beautiful. It is said to be Australia's widest single drop waterfall. We spend an hour just looking at it from the viewing deck and walking around onto the top of the fall where there are rock pools and little falls coming out through the cracks of the volcanic rocks. Such a pleasant place to visit and so relaxing if you have time. I definitely loved it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys visiting waterfalls.
