tambo heritage precinct

This is a very interesting walk through the town, with heritage buildings clearly identified, including some of each building's history. We intended to camp overnight, but we stayed an extra day to see some of the town's history.

Manned by local volunteers, the village allows visitors insight to the old and the new Tambo.Always nice to 'yarn' with volunteers in the small town. Very knowledgable about the a Heritage Precinct and you can take your time exploring.Very worth stopping for.

They have a lot of bits a pieces in the heritage buildings and have done well to pull them together into a story that you can walk through. You can spend 30min or several hours here depending on what your interests are. I really liked the videos from the locals talking about the past
