If you are at all interested in antiques this is a must see. It is hard to imagine how an individual can gather such an amazing collection. Cyril Stokes is an enthusiast and this collection is certainly the best in the Southern Hemisphere. There about 20 large rooms filled with amazing antiques severs, Meissen, Royal Worcester a fa great collection of furniture. Spent three hours being shown around by Cyril and even then we had to hurry. would have liked to spend time in the extensive gardens.

Get a group together to visit the Stokes Collection at $30 a head and you will be amazed at Cyril Stokes' collection set in the beautiful public Forest Glade Gardens. You get a guided tour through his home museum which is an anthology of 18th & 19th century porcelain, a spectacular collection of French furniture, many Boulle pieces, a grand set of tapestries from a South American palace, extensive collections of paintings, marble, statues and oriental works of art.
