I was given a training flight by my staff when I retired. I have flown a number of fixed wing aircraft but had never flown a helicopter.It was a great experience that I can recommend to anyone that wants to fly.We were given ground training on how a copter flies and what to expect during the flight.I was taken to a Hughes 300 and was assisted by a very experienced pilot. once aloft over the training area I was handed the controls and flew the copter for about 20 mins.
