There are many fishes in there. The water is very clean. But the other place is more beautiful than Town beach
We found this beach was good to take the kids fishing and was nice to sit in the car and watch the sunset.
The nearest beach to the town centre and very welcoming after a long hot drive up the coast. Lovely white sand and clear waters make it ideal for a chilling off place. Usual facilities including sheltered seating, barbeque and toilets.
All the other beaches are nicer, this one has really nothing to offer but there are facilities like bbq & picnic tables
This is a fine beach.. That's pretty much all to say. With some of the others on offer up the road you won't feel bad if you miss this one off the list. Nice for visiting with a coffee if you are nearby but head further up and see the premier league of beaches!
Went to the Town Beach for the Whale Shark Festival party. Good food although a little pricey and the entertainment was fun. Nice to sit on the beach at night with friends.
Covered tables just off the beach are great for lunch. The water is calm & crystal clear. We watched a small turtle swimming in the shallows for ages.
Clean sandy beach, very shallow water with toilets, showers, BBQs, shade - a nice place to spend time.
The beach here is nothing compared to the national park, no snorkelling nothing to see. An ok walk if that's all you want
Not great, but it was nice to be able to sit on some grass! There's a BBQ and some tables there. It's having a bit of a facelift at the moment.
We went to have a look at the town beach while staying in Exmouth recently. We had been told that it had a nice BBQ area and walking track. We were very disappointed, although there was a nice BBQ area overlooking the beach, the beach itself was very ugly. Brown water, brown sand, the lack of Ningaloo Reef has quite an impact on the coastline.I would recommend giving the beach a miss and spending the extra time to drive to the other side of the peninsula and visit the beaches protected by the reef.
This beach is nice to visit for a quick dip or sit on the sand and read a book but it's not the pick of the beaches. Turquoise Bay wins hand down for snorkelling and Sandy Bay for a relaxing paddle with kids. We spent many hours relaxing in the water at Sandy Bay. It's very special.
water was fantastic, calm and warm.i thought the 4wd's driving up and down the beach were ruining the experience.
It was pretty drab when we went there, however it is getting refurbished . The toilets were disgusting and there was no shower heads. I'm guessing they had just put Tarmac and stones on the car park so when you walked on it to go to the beach it all stuck to your feet., the drink fountain didn't work . I think it's a work in progress
The town beach is lovely don't get me wrong but after hauling up and down all the beaches in the gulf and Ningaloo its really a bit plain. We loved it and spend sundown walking the beach.Lovely
