JanetThanks for your kind review, it is always lovely to hear from our customers, especially when we learn that they had an enjoyable experience. We hope to see you another time.regardsKeith Warrick
We are red wine drinkers mainly, so that's what we tasted. The staff is well informed, polite and friendly. We tried several varieties, all good, and ended up buying the Shiraz. Make time to visit their pottery and art gallery too. The work is by local artists and the prices realistic. Happs is set in beautiful surroundings so it was a pleasure to visit.
Four years ago on a trip to Australia I had the luck to be served a Happs Fuschia Rosé wine at a Restaurant. i said to my husband, if ever we come back to Australia I need to find this winery!! So this year we did! Gorgeous gardens, winetasting of course and an art gallery. Worth a visit.

Happs is many things wrapped up in one: winery, pottery display and art. The surrounds are stunning and while you can taste and buy some great Margaret River wine, you can also view and purchase pieces of beauty in the pottery area, plus art. Among the many attractions in the vibrant Margaret River region this one stands out with its quiet considered approach and carefully selected pieces of art.
This winery is fantastic. It has a pottery gallery/shop there and some of the stuff in there is amazing. The wine is good quality and this was one of the few wineries that offered tastings of some of their more expensive range. The service was fantastic and they have good deals on cases of wine. If you only visit one winery, then this is probably one that should be on the top of your list.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Happs - both the winery & the pottery. Our host TREVOR was welcoming and informative. Apart from the normal range of wines, they do an excellent range of Preservative Free wines. I'm sometimes affected by the sulphates in wine so this was a good discovery for us. The pottery is exquisite and the gardens beautiful.
Happs is a must visit place for us, we have many fond memories. We only tasted a few wines this time, but all amazing.
Well where do we start. Set among the lovely lush green Margaret River wine region, this jewel of a destination is a must to visit. The location, setting, buildings, environment and friendly staff made this a definite experience to remember.Liz was our lovely wine host and her friendly jovial nature added a great touch to a great morning of wine tasting. 22 flavors to get through and that's only because we only tasted the reds. After visiting many wineries over a three day journey, this was our final stop and we did save the best till last. Our scoring of the wines my partner tasted was pushing to get to 9 1/2 let alone a 10. But yes Happs got 4 9 1/2's and a 10. The 10 was for their Very Special Old Muscat,If you get the chance put aside half a day, take a skipper and visit this cellar door and perhaps take in their pottery Gallery as well. Thanks Liz
One of the best wineries in the region, we make our way to Happs at least twice a year and haven’t been disappointed yet. Great wines with a great depth and variety along with a very knowledgeable group of staff make this a must see stop in the South West. Brilliantly picturesque setting and a warm welcome always await us year after year.
We have been to Happs for several visits over the years and always find that the quality and range of their wines is very good and the prices reasonable. The staff are well informed and friendly and the recent changes to the grounds makes it a wonderful place for the kids to run around. We also love browsing through the pottery and have a small collection of pieces from our visits.
We had a diverse group of wine drinkers, sweet, dry, white, red, and everyone found something they liked here, we even manged to talk the lady gardening into taking a group photo for us in the gardens, such beautiful gardens
