lake navarino forest park

Saw the ad in the weekend TV guide & booked a couple of days. An easy drive down from Perth with the Jayco Hawk, and what a great spot!! Beautiful & clean, good campsites, a very clean ablutions block & a shop & restaurant all on site!! Lots of wildlife, fed the 28`s by hand at our site. The lake was a lovely area but a bit cool for swimming as there was a wild weather forecast for the area! Many trees sheltered our site, and there was the facility to light a camp fire with wood purchased from the shop. We will be back!!

We spent a week in our caravan at Lake Navarino. There are cabins available for rent, a lot of powered caravan and tent sites and unpowered sites as well. The park is very well maintained and clean. The ablution block, while not very new was exceptionally clean. It is within easy walking distance to the lake for fishing (a license is required), skiing and boating. We were amazed at the birds and wildlife and spent time hand feeding kookaburras, magpies and 28's. There is also a dump point for motorhomes and self contained caravans. Our sincere thanks to Brad for his help and assistance during our stay. We will be back.
