Was here for the wedding of 2 friends. Venue is beautiful but VERY WINDY everyone saw my underwear. No one claimed to mind. Food was amazing. Service was great. Scenery spectacular. CAstle very cool to explore.

The sight is outstanding, it is a good place to see the sun set. It is a great place if you want to have some quiet drinks.

I lived in Salgar for few months but I think that the castle is nothing so special. It's not worthy to go there just to visit it.

My favourite place in this area. Amazing views, awesome food and drinks - just beautiful !! It's named castle but from what I gathered from my friend it's just pieces of it that are left in this building. Rest was renovated.

It's maybe a 30-40 minute drive from downtown, but refreshing to arrive at its perch on a cliff over the sea. A nice restaurant now operates there. There is no information posted and no guide there. Worth the trek for those who simply want to get out of the city.

A Unique view to the Caribbean sea from this wonderful place. Peaceful and perfect to take a walk with friends or your couple.

I guess there is a bit of a view but really it isn't a castle by a long shot, although it is a nice venue for weddings and parties.

It is one of those places that you must go if you are in Barranquilla because there was a lot history that happened there and the place has a very nice view of the coast. You can even rent the place for a private party.

If you are visiting Barranquilla this is a place you must go! You can take amazing pictures that will make your visit memorable there is a restaurant on site but you don't necessary have to eat there the sight scene is out of this world

Beautiful colonial edification facing the Caribbean sea.The history of the place and the wonderful view of the sea is a journey back in history. Great location for private events.

Its a real nice place to go sightseeing and for taking pictures. The food at the restaurant is not the best so plan on visiting after lunch and grab some margaritas or a cold beer to cool down. The access to the castle is very safe.

This just brought to life historical castle, is a must because of the view, the food, the location, the historical importance, etc. It is about 18 mins from the city but if you have a car, just go. If not, get a taxi or a friend to drive you there.

The castle and grounds is a wonderful place to spend a day, walking on the well kept and sunny landscape listening to the brake of the waves against the rocks and the beach. The castle is now remodeled to held conventions and social events, very spacious. The restaurant comfortable and air conditioned has excellent chefs and the especially the fish is prepared fresh and with the unique taste and Cuisine that is famous of that particular Caribbean City. The friendly staff make your dinning experience very pleasurable.

We went there on a Saturday morning and had lunch at the restaurant there. The seafood gumbo was excellent and so was my grouper filet. The desserts were varied and the portions, generous. The staff was friendly and corteous. The building was recently renovated and is well maintained.

It has a very nice view.. Go only if you're passing by; since it's 20km away from Barranquilla city.
