An old little church with not much to see.. Last thing you would want to visit if you are in cali. Has a little museum "proecolombino" that isn't thaaaat special.

A small but attractive church. The museum is adjacent but seems to open at 10am so I was unable to visit. No problems going inside the church though.

Lovely patio. Each room layed out in chronilogical order. The rooms flow easily through the decades. Great museum.

Not only is the oldest church, but it is located in the oldest part of the Cali. We often stayed at the Hotel La Merced, just to the north of the church. The last time we were there the hotel was closed. But do stay there if you get the chance. This church is within walking distance of the Hotel Intercontinental, and the Aladdin Casino a few blocks to the west, which has the most excellent pizza by the way, and the Opera House and the Gold Museum, which is a block south.

The church is the most interesting part of the place. I wanted to go inside just to see the beautiful courtyard with beautiful fontain. There is not much spectacular inside the museum.

This national monument has many artefacts on display. If you are a history buff, you will find it interesting. Note: They are closed for lunch, so check the timings before you visit.

museum are alway a learning experience for me, so had a good time explore the museum. Take the tour and enjoy the explanations of each artifacts that it contains.

We stopped by to see this old church. Reminded me of the mission churches in California. We were able to tour the museum - small but rich with artifacts. Worth a visit if you have time, but not if time is tight.

Está casa-museo-iglesia encierra una gran riquesa cultural, patrimonio de la region, en ella se puede encontrar reliquias precolombinas ademas de una momia real y una replica de las tumbas de san agustin. Ahora se puede hacer una visita con costo adicional al museo religioso contiguo a la iglesia.

De las pocas construcciones coloniales que aun se pueden encontrar en Cali. La iglesia que está al lado es preciosa en su interior. Vale la pena ir a conocer.

Hermoso, a un paso del Centro Histórico de la ciudad. Diagonal a la Iglesia La Merced. A pie se recorre todo el centro arquitectónico de la ciudad de cali, sus calles empedradas y la tranquilidad de la zona...

En la entrada al centro de la ciudad, que conserva esa magia de las construcciones coloniales y que está muy bien conservado. Si cuentas con la fortuna de encontrar la iglesia de la Merced abierta será mucho mas enriquecedora la visita.

Es perfecto para conocer la historia de Cali, ubicada en las primeras cuadras de la ciudad. Conserva varias estructuras de mucho más de un siglo ya sea arquitectura, esculturas y momias.
