New experience every time. Great place. Best in windy weather. Go either with the tractor bus or by foot.

Visit this unique place, where you can get in touch with two different oceans at the same time - Perfect place in the summer time for all ages

It is great to experience to have each leg in a different ocean! You can take a tractor "hayride" to the tip of Jutland but you can also walk which we preferred! It is a nice and scenic walk.Be prepared the water is cold even on a hot summer day!

After a walk along the beach you arrive at the point where you can see how the North Sea meets the Baltic Sea.

Grenen, the toungue of sand where Kattegat meets Skagerak is a must to visit when you are in Skagen.

Beautiful landscape, we walked from the parking lot and enjoyed every minute. The view at the very tip is wonderful, where the seas meet each other.

Cool to be able to stand with your feet in two different seas! Beautiful beaches and a nice bicycle ride from Skagen

We stayed in Skagen during a driving tour of Europe and having visited Denmark before, we decided to spend more time in North Jutland. We were drawn to Skagen because of its northerly position and were excited to visit the beach where the two seas meet. We were not disappointed.Once at Grenen Beach, you can either walk from the car park in the dunes, or take a trip (as we did), by tractor/ trailer, along the beach, to the most northerly point of Denmark, known as 'the Skaw.' At this point, you can disembark from the tractor on to the beautiful, soft sand and then, stand with one foot in the Kattegat (Baltic Sea), and the other in the Skagerrak (North Sea). You can see the waves crash together, as the currents or tides from each sea meet and it is an amazing sight to see how there is a real, tangible line, which stretches out into the distance of these clashing waters. What was also amazing, during our visit, was how each sea, along each shoreline, was completely different. The Baltic was shallow and had jellyfish where the sea met the sand, whereas the North Sea seemed deeper and was characterised with little pieces of seaweed and tiny shoals of fish. Amazing! When we visited in August, the temperature reached 34 degrees, and as the area is completely open and devoid of shelter, sun lotion and hats (with chin straps to keep them on) are essential. Also, it might be an idea to get covered with some insect repellent in the summer......the horse/sand flies really sting when they bite and leave quite a nasty bump! However, that is a small price to pay to be in such an awesome place. Definitely worth the drive and we would definitely visit again. Fantastic!

Great nature, fun to be on the top of Denmark. Both the trip with the tractor "Sandormen" or the foot walk from the parking lot to the top is worth experiencing.

It's that special place where the sea west of Denmark (Skagerak) and the sea east of Denmark (Kattegat) meats. You can stand at the beach and see how the two currents makes the waves crop up. It is also known as the most northern point of Denmark, so next stop Norway. (In reality, the geographically most northern point is 700 metres further to the west.) The nature is amazing. When we were there we were followed by a seal not far out in the sea. The parking is quite expensive.

A wonderful place to visit - very interesting and a sight one should not miss. Nice restaurant and the natural habitat is great especially the sea birds you can see.

If you go to Grenen first, then hurry to the Skagen museum, and vice versa. Take your shoes off and stroll along the beach, unchanged scenery since creation.

It is worth the effort to head up here for the token paddle in the North and Baltic seas. The sand was soft and the water was crystal clear. Although chilly, it was lovely to paddle - please note that swimming is not advised here. There were plenty of tourists, and a tractor ride seemed to be an enjoyable way of being transported here from the visitor centre (which has a cafe and toilets).

One of the most beautiful place in Denmark, but also very windy.Soft sand everywhere. Great sunset.
