Ternopil has something for everyone – an idyllic town centre with two effusive fountains, small cobbled boulevards lined with a profusion of coloured flowers, a few book stalls and a variety of cafes and restaurants. Additionally there are a couple of bookshops and gift shops, a greek-style theatre overlooking a bustling square, an old castle (which admittedly does not look very castle-like), three ancient churches which are great for wandering into, three interesting museums, two huge parks with cafes, an open air stage, a small well-kept zoo, sculptures and pedalos to go on. It also boasts an iconic lake right in the middle where there are occasionally international sailing regattas adding a touch of vigour to its gently lapping waters. Also, although there is a friendly buzz there aren’t too many tourists - yet.

Lively, interesting heart of the city. Hire a pedal go cart or buy a sticky lollipop from a crinoline lady.

Центр города, рядом расположено здание театра. На площади палатки Евромайдана.Вечером очень красиво и многолюдно. Сувениры, ресторанчики в изобилии.

tarihi dokusu ve güzel insanları ile etkileyici bir yer. ternopil seyahatimde ilk gezdiğim yer. mutlaka görülmesi gereken yerlerin başında geliyor.

La piazza è ampia e l'edificio del teatro è impressionante per le dimensioni, la collocazione e le decorazioni - un po' retoriche - della facciata. Inoltre, i giardini di fronte, che costituiscono il punto focale del rinomato (qui) boulevard Shevchenko, sono belli e ben tenuti. Ma è solo una piazza, che non regge il confronto con molti luoghi analoghi di tanti altri paesi europei. Considerarla una vera e propria attrazione mi sembra eccessivo.
