Nature at its best. Take a boattrip, go for a long walk watching animal life and botany. End up with a swim along the water falls. Visited the park five times and still plan to return.

Whenever I travelled in this part of Croatia, I went there. These waterfalls are truly beautiful enriched by a large forest landscape. Special prices are offered for families. In summertimes it is extremely hot there.

This Park for me is as Plitvickie Jeziora in smaller version. With very nice waterfalls but also with a beatufull places for a walk were you can see diferent kind of frogs and fishes and you can hear birds with a little charming chappel inside. Very nice place to go with kids.

We where in the Area in August and went on this trip, we at first thought it was going to be a really long Day but the Time went buy really fast and we loved the scenery on the Trip.We where a bit dissapointed at Sibenik because we where treated unfriendly by one of the sales staff in a Shop there and this was the only time on our Trip to the Area the People are so friendly that it was a shock and i must admit i got a bit agro at first but that was not the fault of the people on the trip. Our Tour Guide was great he Joked the whole time and had loads of info about everything he was super friendly and we would really recommend him again. At the Park we had a really hard time getting all the way to the bottom because it was so full but the kids loved it they went swimming while we enjoyed the scenery it was beautiful and we loved every minute of it.We where asked if we wanted to have a traditional Lunch that would Cost extra and normally we would say no but it was only a few Kunas and i must say it was more than worth it if you are on this trip take the time and you will love it fresh produce and friendly people it was one of the best meals we had in Croatia.Overall i would say that the trip was more than worth the Money and i would say if you are there you should take the time to go there.

You just have to see the waterfalls! Walking in the park is amazing... all is good organized. Food and drinks are ok. A lot of places to rest and to enjoy the view! A boat takes you further in the park....

Krka National Park has many beautiful waterfalls, we arrived with the expectation of swimming in the waterfalls to discover there was high water levels which would not allow us to nevertheless it was just as good seeing all the waterfalls in their natural glory, I have to say I was rather snap happy, nature can just be amazing, we enjoyed exploring the park. There is an opportunity to go on a boat tour along River Krka which runs through the park, offering an alternative experience. There is a variety of places to get good food from including pubs, restaurants stalls and stands; there are also toilet facilities at the park. Upon arrival you will enter a car park where you will park your car, there is a brown hut that you need to go and buy your tickets from, there is then a bus that will take you down to the entry at the bottom, there is a walking option which is a fair distance. To learn more about Croatia and my experience please see my blog... https://therichnessoftravel.wordpress.com/2015/01/24/croatia/

Well worth the visit and spending the whole day there.Easy to get there from Sibenik by bus, it will take you to Skradin where you can catch a boat. The journey itself to the park is beautiful. The park was breath taking and very easy to navigate around. We visited in spring so there were a lot less tourists compared to what there would have been in the summer. There had been heavy rainfall so the waterfalls were even more impressive however it meant that unfortunately we couldn't swim as the water levels were too high. The lack of staff guiding you or telling you off when you wandered somewhere you probably shouldn't be offered immense freedom and it was a truly relaxing adventure through some beautiful forests and very impressive waterfalls.

Krka Falls is certainly a wonderful place to enjoy a winter walk. The roar of the water makes for a relaxing, but fairly strenuous walk over, around, and beside the water.

If you will ever be at least 150 km from the Krka waterfalls, you will need to visit this magical place. There are several entrances to the national park Krka, I recommend that you start from Skradin. The price includes a boat ride on the river all the way to the place where begins the largest waterfall (10-15min.).Nearby is the first power plant in Europe made by Nikola Tesla. The power plant has started working a few days after the first of its kind in the world, those at Niagara Falls, also Tesla's work.Besides the large waterfall you actually can swim.Nature is beautiful and well-preserved.

We took the riverboat to the park. Spend the whole day enjoying the fantastic views. Make sure to trek the paths as you will see not only waterfalls, but also a lot of fish in the still waters. You will find yourself in a fantasy world. As you most probably will spend the whole day there, bring sandwiches and drinking water making you free to move around. Bring also bathing suit for a spectacular swim in front of one of the big waterfalls. One CAUTION, though: Currents are extremely strong, and in the lake you will encounter slippery stones and huge ones as well making the first 20 meters of swimming critical. I do not recommend this swim to children.

If you're anywhere near, you don't want to miss the Krka National Park! We visited in mid-October, when the tourist masses are gone and only few bus groups make their ways through the well-built walkways of the main place, the Skradinski bug. However, for your entrance fee you get to visit more places in the park, and we especially liked the Roski slap. There's a small walkway there, too, but if you're fit, walk up to the cave (>500 well-built wooden steps) to look through the stone-age dwellings there and to enjoy the view.

The national park is extremely crowded during high season. Move upwards from the lower reaches and you'll get more space and better views. Be also prepared for long ques to the kiosks. The entrance fee costs 120 HRK. The car parking is free. And after that you have to take one of the shuttle buses to the attractions (or you can walked one hour to get there). This "buses" are only polluting the air in this beautiful area!Although the above KRKA National Park was definitely a place worth visiting!

Purely exotic. Spend the whole day if you can. So many hidden spots to enjoy nature. If you go in summer you can also swim close to the waterfalls

This place is exceptionally amazing and totally unforgettable. It needs to be viewed, heard and enjoyed.

Part of our Mediterranean cruise was a stop in Croatia. Not knowing what we would do (though the countryside is actually quite beautiful), we decided to buy a tour to Krka National Park. We were not disappointed. The park is absolutely beautiful, so if you're ever in Croatia and are looking for something to do, I recommend this park. There is an entry fee, but I don't know how much it was because it was included in our tour package. The park is huge. Since we only had a couple hours there, we couldn't/didn't see a whole lot of the park (have seen pictures of Skradinsky Buk but we didn't make it that far). There are 17 waterfalls, footpaths, museums and a restaurant. Please note that they do not take Euros. (I didn't want to buy Kuna's because I would be stuck with them so I couldn't buy anything!). We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and just looking at some of the beautiful waterfalls. I really wish we had had more time. See my pictures, which will give you an idea of just how beautiful this park is. Someone else posted a picture of Skradinsky Buk so you can see that picture there.
