This is the first time I have visited Vodnjan and the place where Sandi and his family live and produce this most amazing extra virgin olive oil. Sandi and Nina were wonderful hosts. I could see and feel how Sandi has such a passion for life. He stands behind the quality of this olive oil and every ingredient that heals body and soul. Sandi cook like a professional and enjoy sharing with people his experience, his knowledge and passion for this wonderful business he runs. I have to say that his olives are diamonds that grow in his garden and every bottle of oil you can get is fortune in your home. I love his olive oil. That is the best oil I have ever tasted in my life. I love cutting some tomato's and cucumber and pouring olive oil over it.... then taking a peace of fresh hot crunchy bread and dipping into it. Taste of that cant replace nothing in this world. I use this oil every day and I cant wait to go visit this place again. I would recommend this oil to everybody. I didn't know what is extra virgin olive oil until I tried this oil. Thank you Sandi and Nina for the best oil, best food and best experience !!!

Teddy gave an excellent description of how high quality olive oil is made in good English. He was very knowledgeable and his passion for olive oil was infectious. His children were running around playing as he spoke and it was so nice to see a small family business thrive. And of course, the olive oil is delicious!

As a tour guide I visited many different olive oil farms and tasted many different olive oil, and my family also produces olive oil so I thought that I know quite a lot about olive oil...until I met Sandi and tested his olive oil.His olive oil is the best that I ever tested and every time I visit the farm I’m amazed by his knowledge and outstanding presentation.Definitely worth to visit!!!

Family Chiavalon is so kind and very friendly. My family and I came in Vodnjan during one weekend and we went to taste olive oil by the recommendation of our friend. We found out so much about olive oil, I am really amazed and I want to share it with everybody. I thing that the family is doing great job. My father knows a lot about olives, olive oil and the whole process of the production but even he stayed amazed a bought 3 litres of Chiavalon olive oil. My advice for family is to promote and organize more events, and advice for everybody is to come, see and taste this experience. Thank you Chiavalon family and see you soon :)

Based on personal recommendation we visited chiavalon estate. Eventhough I Like to think that I am good Olive oil Expert I was suprised how much facts I didn't know about Olive oil. Fourtunately Sandi Chiavalon (owner) was amazing guide through high quality production of Olive oil - so Many tastes, amazing, I wish I could take it all with me, but these four bottles I took with me enough till I come back again :)
