I was there in the end of the year, on December 2014 for my third time. Is the place that I think my hearts belong. Walking through Sava river is great pleasure, people are very honest and lovely. Even that this place is not so touristic, there you can feel real Croatian heart. You will see also the very interesting sculpture, is president Tudjman - historic Croatian president, with the environment around you will feel Croatia. My suggestion for all who visit for first time and they have just one or two day, dont do it on weekend because everything is close during weekend (expect bars and restaurants). Have a nice time there and enjoy Brod :)

In my opinion it is not a tourist attraction, but there one can see the reflection of the change of different systems and states(Austria-Hungary, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, communist Yugoslavia ,Rep.of Croatia) in human lives and ways of burial

It is really nice hotel. I've been there so many times and every single time was just perfect. They have more than friendly staff, great restaurant and nice rooms. The kitchen is very good. The restaurant offers traditional dishes and drinks. Also there is good wellness center. It is wonderful place to stay.
