Saudarkroker is very proud of this tannery, which has won fashion awards and sells its products to high fashion houses like Dior and Prada. The product is very good and we did find the tour interesting. There are finished products for sale such as wallets and purses, and skins can be purchased also. It is a green tannery, so no toxic materials are used. It is a little creepy, especially the horse skins with manes attached, skinned cats and birds and such.

where else in the world can you find such a product?Unfortunately we could not visit the factory part but even seeing the place where the skins are produced was a special icelandic experience.The colours are amazing.
