benedictine church

Went Saturday lunchtime at first but put off by 'touristy' atmosphere. Returned before Mass on Sunday morning and savoured the peace and quiet and the interesting architecture inside.

It is a quite big church in the center of Győr. There is a nice, big squre before the church. You have to visit it! ;)

Not the first time I've visited this city and I'm sure it won't be the last. It's a beautiful city not to far from the capital. Great coffee shops in the centre of town and some lovely walks to be had as well.

Before or after you go into the church,you can have a mulled wine or hot chocolate,etc.In the church are a lot of seats so you can sit down but If U want you can stay and stand.

This church of the Jesuits who settled down in Győr in 1627 was built between 1634 and 1641. It is located in the historical center on Széchenyi tér. Next to church you can have coffee or dinner at one of many sweet cafes and restaurants.

Церковь расположена в самом центре Дьёра на площади Сечени. Это старую церковь трудно не заметить на площади и обязательно нужно посетить.

Церковь впечатляет своей величественностью и одновременно некоторой уютностью. Место безусловно рекомендуется к посещению, в Дьере не так уж много достопримечательностей, чтобы ее пропустить.

No centro de Gyor, esta magnífica igreja vale a visita pela fachada bonita e primorosa decoração de todo o seu interior, com muitos detalhes folheados a ouro e imagens bonitas, tive a sorte de visitar antes do início de uma missa com apresentação de um coral e do órgão, tudo primoroso

A cidade é pequena e na praça principal concentram-se a maioria das atrações. A igreja fica em frente a bares e restaurantes, o que facilita depois da visita degustar um delicioso almoço acompanhado de cerveja húngara! Experimente!
