About an hour easy walk by the sea or 15 mins by car from Ayia Napa. For absolutely crazy people possibility to prove their craziness once more by jumping down in breathtakingly turquoise water. A bit less brave can climb down and check all the caves in the water and who isnt for adventure at all you will still impress friends with pictures taken in cave above with all the sea caves as a background. you wont regret any way!You will be ok in flip flops there but safer to take them of for climbing, kids r ok as far u r prepare to carry them. no problem to get them in upper cave its nearly on the surface, but hardly can get down with them. There's no toilets or food so take everything what u need with you.
It was amazing and beautiful, the water is so clear and is easy to find, definitely a place to visit for great photos
Water is crystal clear..approach is easy..lots of parking spaces and places you can do party in lap of nature...felt amazing...its cold in January but manageable but very peaceful...you can also plan to camp...
We accessed the Sea Caves through a self drive to Cape Greco. Waters are crystal clear and we would have really loved to cliff dive into it - this would not be possible from our viewing point though, as there's no way up once you jump down.Would imagine it to be a splendid in summer by boat.
The sea caves are so pretty..the rocks beneath have caves that the most daring can go into..only way to get to them though are by jumping from the cliffs into the sea or by small boatThe sea has so many shades of blue to see!! I wanted to dive off the cliff and swim in the many shades of blue, but I am not that daring!
enjoy the view and blue clear waters. Dive from the top of the mountain and relax at the caves. What an amazing experience that was. the small church at the top of the hill is also a landmark
Superb views of the sea by the caves and superb views of the caves by the sea! You can spend hours sitting by the sea side....be careful not to miss the turn though..enroute to Cape Greko..
This is a very beautiful place, a cliff with a lot of caves, very impressive. But this place is not good to swim, there is waves and you can be forced into the rocks and get really hurt.
Beautiful clear waters. Take a boat ride and you won't be sorry , fab photos came be taken . Boat rides best from end of May onwards as sea is calmer then. Oh remember to take your sun cream.
If I go there again I will choose a calm day and bring one more adult and my kids and rent a paddle-boat on the beach east of the harbour (Grecian Bay? Grecian Sands?). Or take one of the tour boats that make a diving stop there. If the ocean is not completely calm I would like to have some experienced guy there to judge the safety and manuever the boat.We were in a hurry and had to hire a boat with a captain for 70 euro for 40 minutes, that took us to the closest caves (where we swimmed a little) and further to another area of caves (where we could not dive for unknown reason). These other caves were not that special, the best ones were those closest to the beach.
Amazing to see them and even more amazing to swim in them. If you get the chance to even just go and see them go, its worth the money, although we didn't pay very much. €10 I think
Nice caves start right next to beach (close to hotel Grekian Sands)Another possible access is climbing from lovers bridge, but swimming from the beach up to the bridge is not too far
Nice to see as part of a boat trip. Sea is lovely to dip into while there. Wouldn't go out of my way to make a trip there just to see them.
took boat trip from Ayia Napa, boat got very close to picturesque coastline and caves, worth a look.
I went on one of the many boat trips from the harbour at Ayia Napa which stopped for a while at the entrance to the caves. The sea surrounding the area there was stunning - beautiful lapping blue hues from crystal clear to a deep purple-blue. Well worth going on a boat trip to see.
