+8 mile circular walk - good to fill in day if you're waiting for transfer. Good views throughout+ Nature reserver at Schuttdorf end.-far side of lake is mostly on roadside path

Great activity for the last day, if you have 6 day lift pass like us. Amazing how few people walk round it, a lot of it is on the road, but still worth doing to walk your ski legs off

If you're staying in Zell, then a walk along the lake is definitely worth considering. Even in winter, the scenery is brilliant and the lake is easily reachable from the town.

Walked round lake anti clockwise. Path very good other than pavement bit along road. Beautiful lake side houses and apartments .Views of mountains and ski area at Kaprun wonderful.I imagine a good winter or summer walk of 11k.

I would like to say that Zell am see lake was one the best likes that I have seen ever and clean. Even the mountain view was green and very nice to just stay and look at nature. Green mountain and blue lake, was amazing.

You can walk all around the lake. Majestic views.their is a boardwalk where you can sit at intrevals. The grand hotel on the lake is a must for a visit. It was snowing when we got there and it was magical all around. Hotel takes you back to times past and granduer. Cocktails are proper and service in restaurant is impecciable. Views of the lake and mountains are spectacular.

Myself and my partners mum walked around the whole of the lake one morning which was roughly 6 miles. Lovely walk with a coffee stop on the way around. Get to see Zell Am See from a 360 degree view.

The lake forms a pretty backdrop and a nice walk either after skiing or if you are a non skier. The only shame is that they dont run any boat trips in the winter months.

Absolutely stunning scenery, surrounded by magnificent mountains. Good walkways around lake. Lovely town of Zell with convenient Tea & cakeshops

The lake is the main feature of Zell. We had expected to see it frozen but were disappointed - it was too warm even in January. Very pretty and a good walk around it, although on the far side there is no footpath. You have to walk on the pavement. Good esplanade on the Zell side.

Easy walk around lake approx 11km with beautiful views of the mountains and the town. No water activities available due to time of year. Lovely cafes and villages to visit enroute especially by the camp site where you can relax and have a drink outside by a log fire.

Beautiful lake. Took about 3 hours to stroll around it. Great views of Zell Am See. Should do whilst staying in Zell

lovely tour around the lake via the boat. Great music and nibbles, great experience. reasonably priced.

Great to walk around stunning views, nothing to dislike. Good hotels around so you can stop for something nice to eat and drink.

Large, clean, in the middle of a very well known city, it offers a spectacular view and for sure you will enjoy your coffee by just watching it or walking around.
