A must experience if you are visiting Innsbruck. Great views of the city, fun ride to the slopes, great to watch other people ski down these impressive mountains.

As you ascend higher and higher the adrenalin builds and then all of a sudden you break through the clouds and it feels like your on another planet! The ride is smooth and the driver knowledgeable.We went out of snow season however the tops of the mountain we're covered in the lovely white stuff. Take your camera and remember your time at the edge of space!

Perhaps one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life, excellent views, epic skiing slopes with well priced and wonderful restaurants on the way to the top. I have only praise for this experience.

If you ever get to visit Innsbruck, you cannot avoid going up the mountains using Nordkettenbahnen. It is not that cheap but it is worth every cent. The view, the air, the snow; everything is comfortable and amazing. My suggestion: do not eat at the self-service in Seegrube.

Very nice view to Innsbruck. Even if you are not fun of the ski, worth to go up there. There is a restaurant there with a tasty goulash soup.

Very nice skiing in this small but cosy area. Allthough surrounded by bigger resorts, this mountain is truly amazing!

This was an amazing cable ride...if you are in Innsbruck for a more than a couple of days then purchase the Innsbruck card because you can use it for a lot of things plus a few cable car trips.On a Friday night they have a DJ and the view over Innsbruck is beautiful.......

Quite expensive but you won't regret it if the weather is good. The best plan is probably too go up on a Friday afternoon and stay for the bar - to see the city during the day and at night too.Definitely worth doing regardless of how long you're in Innsbruck for.

The most memorable attraction in innsbruck. We didn't ski and were a bit worried that we weren't going to enjoy our time as much but the entire ride up was amazing. Heading to the top of the furnicular and the two gondolas you get an amazing view of Innsbruck squeezed within the mountains. Since we had made it that far we decided to walk up to the summit, a 20 minute walk (be careful going up) where, believe it or not it was more beautiful. We spent 2h sitting on the summit (it was surprisingly warm) and came down to watch the sunset on the deckchairs of the igloo barA great day!

This is one of the best gondola rides in the world. The views are just fantastic and a thrill ride as well

Great views awesome hiking and we'll worth the day trip. Make sure you pack a jacket and venture to the top of the mountain.

At first you might wonder if the money is worth it, because it may seem expensive to some for just a gondola ride. However, the sights and experience from this mountain top are second to none. The cost will soon fade away, especially if it is your first time seeing the Alps. My oldest son and I climbed another 150 yards or so to the peak and will never forget it. The restaurant was quaint and the beer was good. The views are unforgettable and the mountains are magnificent. Take the ride and don't forget to charge your smart phone or camera, you will take a lot of photos and videos. I challenge you not to.

The village up there is very calm. The walk to the zoo was also very cool. The ropeway took us up and from there the view was heavenly.
