It is really great to see how the factory and original equipment are maintened. Hochofenmuseum is not an amusement park, but if you enjoy to learn how the industrial rea get this far, this is the right place.The guide is something else, very special, dressed like old times, explains and shows every detail. It is amazing to check how the austrian engineer were that time, how detailed they study one subject and how accurate they implement one idea. Even that time safety was take in consideration.It worth every minute invested.I fully recommend.

Sehr gut erhaltener Holzkohlehochofen. Anschauliche museale Gestaltung, hervorragende Führung mit kompetenten Erklärungen sowohl technischer Art als auch über das Leben in der damaligen Zeit (19. Jahrhundert, Zeit Erzherzog Johanns). Barrierefreie Zugänge zu allen Teilen des Museums. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!
