A stunning and peaceful cathedral, with the chandeliers catching the sunlight through the windows. Absolutely beautiful!

Graz is a beautiful place with much to offer at close range, the cathedral is beautiful, and there is history embedded most any where you look. Unfortunately we ran out of days

The church is very nice. It is a mixture of Gothic and Baroque styles. It is not that big bit very lovely. The baroque parts are beautiful and not too extravagant. It is next to the Mausoleum of Ferdinand II.

nice city walk. worth seeing. many nice surroundings. this is central part of the city. I recommendto park and enjoythe view.

The inside of the cathedral is beautiful and it is free to get inside. Be sure to check out the mural of the Three Plagues (the Black Death, the Turks, and locusts) on the south outside wall (near the mausoleum).

Собор красив как снаружи так и внутри. Нам повезло и мы попали на "разминку" органиста. Эти чарующие звуки позволили нам по другому взглянуть на архитектуру

Von aussen wirkt die Kirche eher unscheinbar. Das Innere des Grazer Dom's ist aber besonders interessant. Der Grundstil ist spätgotisch, es kamen später noch wundervolle barocke Elemente dazu. ( u.a. der Hochaltar,die Kanzel und die Orgel ) .

Ci sono stata il 7 dicembre in un giorno di pioggia. Da fuori la chiesa è molto imponente, affiancata dal Mausoleo, costruito come tomba per Ferdinando II.Sono entrata attirata dal canto di un coro che faceva le prove ( molto bello ). L'interno era illuminato solo dai ceri votivi che diffondevano una luce molto suggestiva. Dallemgrivlie sul pavimento, proveniva un'aria calda che mi ha asciugato. Lo stile è gotico, ma l'interno è barocco. Ai lati dell'altare maggiore ci sono due grandi bauli di legno di quercia, completemene intarsiati in avorio, valutati diversi milioni di euro, che contenevano il corredo di una Gonzaga andata sposa a un Asburgo ( non ricordo i nomi ). Ai lati della navata maggiore, le due laterali, con altari secondari. Sono ritornata per la Messa serale: meravigliosi lampadari di cristallo illuminavano l'interno, tutti pregavano e cantavano. Pur conoscendo il tedesco, non ho capito molto nè del Vangelo nè dell'Omelia, ma ne è valsa la pena di partecipare, perché l'atmosfera era molto suggestiva.

Den Dom ließ Kaiser Friedrich III zwischen 1438 und 1464 als Hofkriche bauen. Links an der Südseite befindet unter einem kleinen Vordach das Bild der drei Plagen, ( Pest, Türken, Heuschrecken ) welche die Stadt Graz im Jahre 1480 heimsuchten.

Auch wenn der Dom von außen recht unscheinbar und klein wirkt lohnt sich ein Besuch. Innen ist sie sehenswert und "widerspricht" dem äußeren Erscheinungsbild. Auch für nicht-Kirchen-Liebhaber sehenswert.

Molto bello, anche se me lo aspettavo più grande e imponente, all'interno vengono svolti anche concerti di musica lirica, situato in prossimità del centro è facilmente raggiungibilie dalla Sporgasse e svoltando poi a destra nella Hofgasse, di fianco è situato il Mausoleo.

On est assez surpris car pour une cathédrale elle est assez petite. Mais intérieur agréable, elle se trouve juste à côté du mausolée. Donc visite rapide.

Die Domkirche St. Ägydius in Graz befindet gleich am Stadtpark in der Burggasse. Von außen erscheint sie gar nicht so groß im Vergleich zu anderen Domkirchen in Europa. Innen ist das Gottesplangenbild sehenswert. Es ist kein großes Highlight und als wir dort waren, waren wenige Leute dort. Man kann dort eigentlich wohl immer rein, außer bei Messen.

建物、内装ともにすばらしい教会でした。ちょうどオルガンコンサートをしていて、パイプオルガンの音が響いていました。多くの修行僧がいたのでみいってしまいました。

Der Grazer Dom, direkt neben dem Mausoleum Friedrichs III. gelegen, ist der bedeutendste Sakralbau der Stadt. Neben den faszinierenden Arbeiten um die Portal beeindruckt vor allem das sogenannte Gottesplagenbild an der Südseite der Außenmauer, welches drei historische Plagen zeigt, unter denen Graz hat leiden müssen: Pest, Heuschrecken und Türkenbelagerung. Im Inneren sind der Altar und die zahlreichen Deckenmalereien besonders sehenswert. Wenn man schon in der Nähe ist sollte man unbedingt auch das Mausoleum nebenan besuchen. Fotoapparat nicht vergessen.
